 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. SATISFIED. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE
 TREES AND PALMS IN GOOD CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON
 SITE OR RELOCATED. ANSI A 300 (PART 5) STANDARDS
 SPECIFY EXAMPLES OF SUITABILITY RATINGS OF GOOD,
 MODERATE, OR POOR FOR RELOCATION. PROVIDE AN ARBORISTS
 REPORT RATING THE CONDITION AND RELOCATION POTENTIAL
 FOR THE NATIVE TREES AND PALMS.
  
 2. SATISFIED. SHEET L-1.1, EXISTING TREES AND PALMS TO
 REMAIN OR BE RELOCATED CANNOT BE COUNTED TOWARD ANY
 MITIGATION DUE, REMOVE CREDITS FROM THE CHART AND
 PROVIDE REVISED TOTAL OF MITIGATION DUE. CONVERT ALL
 MITIGATION DUE TO SQUARE FOOTAGE.
  
 3. SATISFIED. SHEET L-1.1, MITIGATION CREDITS ARE NOT
 CORRECT, MUST USE THE CATEGORY LIST FOR TREE MITIGATION
 CREDITS. CATEGORY 1- 300 SQ FT CREDIT, CATEGORY - 150
 SQ FT CREDIT, CATEGORY 3- 100 SQ FT CREDIT, CATEGORY 4-
 50 SQ FT CREDIT. ANY SHORTFALL IN CANOPY CREDITS MUST
 BE CALCULATED FOR PAYMENT IN LIEU.

 4. SATISFIED. PER SECTION 94-442(B)Q. SHOW TREES AND
 PALMS ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE
 PROPERTY LINE.
  
 5. SATISFIED. PER SECTION 94-452, IRRIGATION MUST BE
 PROVIDED FOR THE RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING. THE EXISTING
 PLANTING AREAS ALONG LA KIRKSEY WERE DESIGNED AS
 BIOSWALES TO ACCEPT STORMWATER RUNOFF. STAFF RECOMMENDS
 DESIGNING TO MAINTAIN THIS INTENT. SHADE TREES ARE
 PREFERRED TO BE ADDED TO S DIXIE RIGHT OF WAY TO
 PROVIDE SHADE FOR PEDESTRIANS.
  
 6. CONDITIONALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE A PRELIMINARY
 APPROVAL LETTER FROM FDOT FOR THE LANDSCAPING IN THE
 RIGHT OF WAY.
  
 7. SATISFIED. TAG FOR QVR/2 IS NOT INDICATING THE
 CORRECT SYMBOL ON THE PLAN. INDICATE IF THE CURRENT
 TREE CANOPY WILL PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 14 FOOT CLEARANCE
 FOR TRAFFIC IF RELOCATED TO THE RIGHT OF WAY.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PROVIDE A DETAIL AND SHOW THE LOCATIONS
 OF THE REQUIRED STRUCTURAL SOIL UNDER THE ADJACENT
 SIDEWALK OR HARDSCAPE AREAS FOR THE STREETSCAPE.
  
 STRUCTURAL SOIL SHOULD ONLY BE SHOWN IN AREAS THAT ARE
 PAVED, ALL UNPAVED AREAS WILL BE SHOWN AS PLANTING
 SOIL.

 9. SATISFIED. LANDSCAPE BUFFER OF 5 FEET IS REQUIRED ON
 THE EAST SIDE OF THE ACCESS ROAD FROM THE ALLEY WITH
 THE REQUIRED TREES. THIS IS TO PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR
 THE ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL. PALMS OR SMALLER TREES MAY BE
 USED AGAINST THE BUILDING TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL
 SCREENING WITHOUT CAUSING MAINTENANCE ISSUES.
  
 10. SATISFIED. SOUTH LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG THE ALLEY
 HAS A LARGE GAP IN THE BUFFER TREES THAT MUST BE
 CORRECTED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 11. SATISFIED. THE TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS OUTSIDE
 THE BUILDING FOOTPRINT MUST MEET THE 8 FOOT WIDTH
 LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENT. CALCULATIONS FOR THE 75% SHADE
 TREE REQUIREMENT ARE PROVIDED, BUT DO NOT MATCH WHAT IS
 SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
  
  
 12. SATISFIED. WATER LINES COMING INTO THE BUILDING
 FROM THE WEST SIDE NEED TO BE RELOCATED TO ALLOW THE
 REQUIRED BUFFER TREES TO BE LOCATED WITHOUT CONFLICT TO
 PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR THE ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL USE.
  
  
 13. SATISFIED. PROVIDE SCREENING HEDGES FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED VALVES AND EQUIPMENT CURRENTLY SHOWN ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 14. SATISFIED. SHOW THE REQUIRED D CURBS FOR ALL
 LANDSCAPE AREAS ADJACENT TO VEHICULAR USE AREAS.
  
 15. SATISFIED. WAX MYRTLES DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM
 HEIGHT REQUIREMENT FOR TREES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE STREET TREES AND
 RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE
 THROUGH A SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
 4. STREETSCAPE IN FDOT RIGHT OF WAY MUST RECEIVE FDOT
 PERMIT APPROVAL PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY FOR THE BUILDING.
