 JUNE 12, 2018
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SHOW LOCATIONS OF EXISTING TREES, AND PROVIDE A TREE
 DISPOSITION CHART TO SHOW IF THEY WILL BE PRESERVED IN
 PLACE, RELOCATED OR REMOVED.
  
 2. PROVIDE A TREE CLOSER TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE
 BUILDING IN THE WEST BUFFER.
  
 3. WATER METER AND BACKFLOW PLACEMENT CONFLICT WITH THE
 REQUIRED TREE IN THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER AND TERMINAL
 ISLAND SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SITE. ADJUST LOCATION OF
 WATER SERVICE TO ACCOMMODATE THE TREE AND PROVIDE ROOT
 BARRIER.
  
 4. MAKE SURE THERE IS ADEQUATE CLEARANCE OF THE
 LANDSCAPING FROM THE FIRE HYDRANT AND SHOW IF ROOT
 BARRIER IS NEEDED.
  
 5. CONSIDER LARGER SPECIES OR EAST PALATKA HOLLY
 INSTEAD OF THE DAHOON HOLLY DUE TO DISEASE CONCERNS.
  
 6. REMOVE THE 21,108 SF FROM THE OVERALL LANDSCAPE
 REQUIREMENT CHART.
  
 7. ADD COLUMNS FOR DROUGHT TOLERANCE AND FLORIDA NATIVE
 PLANT TO THE PLANT LIST AND FILL APPROPRIATELY FOR EACH
 LISTING.
  
 8. SHIFT THE GUMBO LIMBO TREES INTO THE LANDSCAPE AREA
 IN THE SOUTHEAST BUFFER AS ALLOWED BY CODE TO ASSURE
 THEY ARE NOT TOO CLOSE TO THE WALL TO ASSURE ADEQUATE
 ROOT ZONE.
  
 9. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
  
 9. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SILVER BUTTONWOOD TREES IN THE
 SOUTHERN BOULEVARD BUFFER OF FLANAGAN?S CANNOT BE
 SHEARED INTO ROUND SHAPES AS IT IS PROHIBITED.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
