 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (C), DIVIDER
 MEDIANS MAY BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE LANDSCAPE AREA. IF
 DIVIDER MEDIANS ARE USED, THEY SHALL FORM A CONTINUOUS
 LANDSCAPED STRIP BETWEEN ABUTTING ROWS OF PARKING
 SPACES. THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF SUCH A DIVIDER MEDIAN
 SHALL BE FIVE FEET. SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES WITHIN A
 DIVIDER MEDIAN SHALL BE PLANTED AT 30-FOOT INTERVALS.
 THE MEDIAN THAT IS CURRENTLY ALL CONCRETE SHALL BE
 RECONFIGURED TO PROVIDE THE LANDSCAPE STRIP. A FIVE
 FOOT SIDEWALK SHOULD BE MORE THAT SUFFICIENT TO ALLOW
 FOR ACCESS. IN ORDER TO BROADEN THE LANDSCAPE SPACE,
 THE CARSTOPS AND THE PAVEMENT BEYOND THEM CAN BE
 REMOVED. CURBING CAN BE INSTALLED IN THE LOCATION WHERE
 THE CAR STOPS ARE CURRENTLY PLACED AND THE VEHICLES CAN
 OVERHANG INTO A LANDSCAPED AREA. NO HEDGE OR TREES CAN
 BE PLANTED WITHIN THE TWO-FOOT VEHICLE OVERHANG AREA
 BUT THE TREES CAN DEVELOP A LARGER ROOT SYSTEM. MULCH,
 SOD OR MONDO GRASS CAN BE PLACED WITHIN THE OVERHANG
 AREA.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D), PRIVATE LAND AND
 PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK
 SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPED OPEN
 SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS
 SHALL BE SODDED. THIS INCLUDES THE RIGHT-OF-WAY
 ADJACENT TO NORTH FLORIDA MANGO ROAD.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE, INCLUDING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 4. PLEASE PROVIDE THE SIZE OF ALL PROPOSED PLANT
 MATERIAL.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D". NO CURBING WAS PROPOSED
 ALONG THE EAST PERIMETER OF THE SITE, ADJACENT TO THE
 PARKING LOT.
  
 6. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (1) FOR ALL
 NONRESIDENTIAL USES, THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER SHALL BE AT
 LEAST FIVE FEET SIDE ALONG THE ENTIRE EDGE OF PROPERTY
 WHEN ADJACENT TO A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE, AND WHEN
 ADJACENT TO NONRESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS. THE
 SIDEWALK AT THE HEAD OF THE HANDICAP SPACES AND THE
 DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE CANNOT ENCROACH INTO THE REQUIRED
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (4), AT LEAST ONE
 SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE PLANTED IN A REQUIRED
 BUFFER STRIP FOR EACH 30 LINEAR FEET OR PORTION
 THEREOF. THERE ARE GAPS THE EXCEED 30 FEET BETWEEN
 TREES ALONG THE SOUTH PERIMETER BUFFER. IN ADDITION,
 THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PALMS ALONG THE LANDSCAPE STRIP.
 PLEASE SEE ITEM NUMBER EIGHT BELOW.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (C), WHEN PALM TREES ARE
 SUBSTITUTED FOR SHADE TREES, TWO PALM TREES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED FOR EACH REQUIRED SHADE TREE. HOWEVER,
 PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (B), WHENEVER THE
 CLUSTERING OF PALM TREES IS UTILIZED, A MINIMUM OF
 THREE PALM TREES PER CLUSTER SHALL BE REQUIRED. THE
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE SITE
 SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST THREE PALMS IN EACH ISLAND OR
 THE PALMS SHALL BE CHANGED TO SHADE TREES.
  
 9. STAFF RECOMMENDS THE USE OF VERTICAL LANDSCAPE
 ELEMENTS WITHIN THE FOUNDATION PLANTING ON ALL SIDES OF
 THE BUILDING TO ENHANCE THE ARCHITECTURE AND SOFTEN THE
 FACADES.
  
 10. IF FIVE POINTS ARE TO BE CREDITED TOWARD MEETING
 XERISCAPE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE USE OF MOISTURE SENSING
 CONTROLLER OTHER THAN A RAINSWITCH, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE
 EQUIPMENT TO BE INSTALLED.
  
 11. PLEASE USE THE CITY APPROVED STRIPING DETAIL. A
 COPY OF THE DETAIL IS AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT DESK OF
 THE PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT.
  
 12. PLANT MATERIAL USED TO SCREEN THE GENERATOR OR
 OTHER EQUIPMENT SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT HEIGHT TO FULLY
 SCREEN IT
