 PLEASE PROVIDE COMMENT RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROVISION OF THE REQUIRED
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND UPDATED PLANS MAY RESULT IN
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
  
 1) THE SURVEY PROVIDED WITH THE APPLICATION SHOWS ROOF
 DRAINS FROM THE BUILDING TO THE NORTH ENCROACHING ON
 THE PROPERTY. THESE SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE CIVIL PLANS
 TO ENSURE THAT THERE ARE NO CONFLICTS WITH THE PARKING
 LOT CURBING. ADDITIONALLY, THE LANDSCAPE PLAN WILL USE
 THE CIVIL PLAN AS ITS BASE DRAWING AND THE DRAINS WILL
 NEED TO BE IDENTIFIED SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH THE
 LANDSCAPE.
  
 2) CLARIFY ON THE PLANS WHAT THE FINAL DISPOSITION OF
 THE 2 EXISTING LIGHT POLES AND THE EXISTING LIGHT POLE
 BASE WILL BE. ARE THEY BEING REPLACED, REMOVED, OR
 RELOCATED? ALL SIGHT LIGHTING SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE
 SITE, CIVIL AND LANDSCAPE PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT SIGHT
 LIGHTING SHALL NOT INTERFERE WITH LANDSCAPE. THE LIGHTS
 POST AND LIGHT POST BASE WOULD CONFLICT WITH THE
 PROPOSED TREES.
  
 3) THE CIVIL PLANS WILL BE USED FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION
 OF THE PARKING LOT, INCLUDING DRAINAGE AND CURBING, SO
 IT NEEDS TO ACCURATELY SHOW THE PLACEMENT OF THESE
 FEATURES. THE NORTH SIDE PARKING AREA DOES NOT SHOW THE
 PARKING SPACES AT THE CORRECT LENGTH. THE SPACES SCALE
 AT 16 TO 17 FEET DEEP, INCLUDING OVERHANG. IT APPEARS
 THAT THE NORTHERN LANDSCAPE AREA MAY BE SHOWN TOO WIDE.
 PLEASE USE THE DIMENSION OF 45.7 FEET FROM THE BUILDING
 TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE (AS SHOWN ON THE SURVEY) AS
 YOUR STARTING POINT. FOLLOW THE PARKING SPACE AND
 ACCESS AISLE DIMENSIONS AS INDICATED IN ARTICLE XV OF
 THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS. PLEASE
 REMEMBER THAT TO GET ADDITIONAL PERVIOUS AREA ON THE
 SITE TO HELP WITH DRAINAGE AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL GREEN
 SPACE, THE NORTHERN PARKING SPACES WILL BE USING THE
 OVERHANG PROVISION. THIS REQUIRES THAT THE STALL DEPTH
 MEASURE IS TAKEN FROM THE END OF THE OVERHANG, NOT THE
 CURB LINE.
  
 4) THE SURVEY SHOWS 50.9 FEET FROM THE BUILDING TO THE
 SOUTH PROPERTY LINE. PLEASE START YOUR LAYOUT OF THE
 LANDSCAPE, PARKING AND DRIVE AISLE FROM THE SOUTH
 PROPERTY LINE AS AFTER ADDING THE DIMENSIONS (FROM
 VARIOUS PLANS), IT APPEARS THAT THE DRIVE AISLE MAY
 COME IN AT JUST UNDER 20 FEET 2 INCHES AS LISTED ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 5) DIMENSIONS SHALL BE SHOWN ACROSS ALL ELEMENTS OF THE
 SITE (LANDSCAPE, PARKING, DRIVE AISLES, SIDEWALKS, CURB
 CUTS, WALKWAY) SO THAT THE CONTRACTOR CAN HAVE THE
 DIMENSIONS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE PLANS FOR THE
 INSTALLATION IN THE FIELD.
  
 6) THE EXIT DRIVE IS SHOWN WITH A 23 FOOT 4 INCH
 DIMENSION ON THE CIVIL PLAN, YET A 20 FOOT DIMENSION ON
 THE ARCHITECTURAL SITE PLAN. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE
 CITY'S TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION REQUIRES THAT THIS
 EXIT POINT BE NARROWED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE (EVEN 20
 FEET WAS GREATER THAN THEY WANTED) SO THAT IT IS NOT
 CONFUSED FOR TWO-WAY ENTRY BY SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC ON
 SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY.
  
 7) CURBING IS NOT REQUIRED WHEN USING A WHEEL STOP AS
 SHOWN FOR THE TWO EASTERN 90 DEGREE SPACES. THE
 NORTHWESTERNMOST PARKING SPACE MAY NOT HAVE A WHEEL
 STOP, BUT SHALL HAVE A OVERHANG CURB.
  
 8) THE BICYCLE RACK AND PAD ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS
 PERMIT APPLICATION. BICYCLE RACK DETAILS ARE REQUIRED.
 THIS INCLUDES THE STYLE OF BICYCLE RACK AND ITS
 LOCATION ON THE PAD, WITH DIMENSIONS. PLEASE NOTE THAT
 THE WAVE STYLE RACK IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE CITY.
  
 9) THE BICYCLE RACK SHALL BE ORIENTED SO THAT BICYCLES
 PARK IN A NORTH/SOUTH ORIENTATION, NOT EAST WEST AS
 SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
  
 10) IN ORDER TO PROVIDE VISIBILITY AND EASE OF USE FOR
 THE BICYCLE RACK, THE 6 FOOT X 4 FOOT PAD SHALL START
 ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PEDESTRIAN WALK AND 1 FOOT
 EAST OF THE BUILDING WALL (IN EFFECT A 6 FOOT X 5 FOOT
 PAD).
  
 11) MODIFICATIONS TO THE ACCESS DRIVES ALONG SOUTH
 DIXIE HIGHWAY WILL REQUIRE FDOT APPROVAL AND THE
 CLOSING OF THE DRIVEWAYS ALONG BREVARD AVENUE WILL
 REQUIRE CITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT APPROVAL.
  
 12) STAFF RECOGNIZES THAT CHANGES TO THE PLANS MAY
 RESULT BASED ON THE ALTERNATIVE DRAINAGE OPTIONS WHICH
 HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED.
