Electronic Permitting Notice of Commencement Acknowledgement
I agree and acknowledge that Florida Statute 713.135(1)(d) requires the City of West Palm Beach to request a Certified Copy of a Recorded Notice of Commencement (NOC) be filed with the Construction Services Department before any inspections can be performed on projects with a total value of over $2500 ($7500 or more for mechanical repair and replacement only). I agree and acknowledge that it is my responsibility as the Owner's Representative for this permit to file a NOC, if required, before requesting any inspections from the City on this permit.
I also understand and accept that the Construction Services Department cannot place a NOC hold on this electronic permit automatically. I therefore consent and agree that the first inspection requested on this electronically issued permit will trigger a City Inspector review, at the project site, as to whether or not a NOC is required, and if required, that a NOC has been filed with the City. I understand that if a NOC is required and has not been filed, I will be failed without any inspection of the work onsite and I will be assessed an automatic re-inspection fee in accordance with the currently adopted schedule of rates and charges. |
