 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD
 AREA. IT IS IN AN AE FLOOD ZONE WITH A BFE OF 6' NAVD
 88. THE CIY OF WEST PALM BEACH'S FLOOD ORDINANCE
 SECTION 18-33 REQUIRES BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES LOCATED
 IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS TO HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR AND
 EQUIPMENT ELEVATED TO THE BASE ELEVATION PLUS TWO FEET
 OR THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.
 THEREFORE, THE FINISH FLOOR OF THE HABITABLE AREA IS
 REQUIRED TO BE AT OR ABOVE 8' NAVD 88. FBC-R322
 THE ORDINANCE ALLOWS ENCLOSED AREAS BELOW THE DESIGN
 FLOOD ELEVATION IF USED SOLELY FOR THE PARKING OF
 VEHICLES, BUILDING ACCESS OR STORAGE AND ARE DESIGNED
 WITH FLOOD OPENINGS COMPLYING WITH FBC-R 322.2.2
  
 2) YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THREE ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATES. THE FIRST ONE IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO PERMIT
 ISSUANCE AND IS BASED ON THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS. THE
 SECOND ONE IS REQUIRED DURING CONSTRUCTION WHEN THE
 FLOOR SLAB HAS BEEN POURED. THE THIRD ONE IS AFTER THE
 JOB IS COMPLETED AND PRIOR TO RECIEVING THE CERTIFICATE
 OF OCCUPANCY.
