 NOTE:
 LEVEL 1 ALTERATION. SEC. 602 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 702.6 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW WORK SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE MATERIALS AND METHODS REQUIREMENTS IN
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
  
 1- ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS:
 THE BUILDING HAS A VALUATION OF MORE THAN $300,000.
 NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 706.8 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 STORM ROOFING, INC LETTER SUBMITTED IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
 THE ESTIMATE FOR THE ROOF TO WALL EVALUATION AND
 INSTALLATION OF CONNECTIONS AT GABLE ENDS OR ALL
 CORNERS HAS TO BE DONE BY LICENSED GENERAL OR BUILDING
 CONTRACTOR NOT BY ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
 ANOTHER OPTION IS TO SHOW THAT THE EXISTING ROOF TO
 WALL CONNECTIONS MEET OR EXCEED FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 2- PERMIT APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS CALL FOR
 REROOF OF SHINGLES ONLY. BASED ON AERIAL VIEW OF THE
 BUILDING, THERE IS A FLAT ROOF ON TOP OF THE ROOF.
 CLARIFY WHY THIS FLAT ROOF IS NOT GOING TO BE DONE. IF
 FLAT ROOF IS GOING TO BE REPLACED, THEN THE TYPICAL
 COMMENTS FOR ALL OTHER BUILDINGS WILL APPLY FOR THE
 FLAT ROOF PRODUCT APPROVAL. SEE COPY OF COMMENTS FOR
 THOSE BUILDINGS BELOW.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
