 CODE: FBC 7TH EDITION (2020) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS:
 THE BUILDING HAS A VALUATION OF MORE THAN $300,000.
 NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 706.8 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 STORM ROOFING, INC LETTER SUBMITTED IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
 THE ESTIMATE FOR THE ROOF TO WALL EVALUATION AND
 INSTALLATION OF CONNECTIONS AT GABLE ENDS OR ALL
 CORNERS HAS TO BE DONE BY LICENSED GENERAL OR BUILDING
 CONTRACTOR NOT BY ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
 ANOTHER OPTION IS TO SHOW THAT THE EXISTING ROOF TO
 WALL CONNECTIONS MEET OR EXCEED FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 RESPONSE:
 SITE PLAN AERIAL VIEW SUBMITTED SHOWS A THREE STORY
 BUILDING. THERE ARE NOT TWO STORY APARTMENTS AT THE
 ENDS OF THIS BUILDING. REVISE THE ROOF TO WALL
 STRAPPING PROPOSAL AND THE ROOFING CONTRACTOR LETTER
 DECLINING THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS WORK TO REFLECT
 THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GABLE ENDS AND VALUE.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
