 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED. 2ND REVIEW COMMENTS BELOW
 ARE BASED ON THE NEW GAS PLAN G.1 SUBMITTED ON THE
 SECOND ROUND.
  
 1) G.1: THE GAS RISER DOES NOT SHOW THE BRANCH PIPE TO
 THE RANGE AND THE LOCATION OF THE METER. THE LOCATION
 OF THE METER IS ALSO NOT SHOWN ON THE PLAN. A COMPLETE
 GAS RISER AND PLAN IS REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECS.
 G2412.3 & G2412.4 FBC RES.
  
 2) G.1: THE NOTES INDICATE THE TOTAL DEVELOPED LENGTH
 OF THE PIPING SYSTEM IS 196 FT. HOWEVER THE PLAN AND
 RISER APPEAR TO SHOW A MUCH SHORTER DISTANCE. AS NOTED
 IN COMMENT #1 SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE METER AND THE
 LENGTHS OF EACH BRANCH AND SEGMENT OF THE PIPE RUN AND
 THE TOTAL LENGTH FROM THE METER TO THE MOST REMOTE
 APPLIANCE- SEC. G2413.4.1 FBC RES.
  
 3) G.1: THE NOTES INDICATE A 2PSI SYSTEM. PLEASE SHOW
 THE LOCATIONS OF REQUIRED LOW PRESSURE REGULATORS AT
 THE APPLIANCES- SEC. G2421.2 FBC RES.
  
 4) G.1: THE PLAN DOES NOT BEAR THE PRINTED NAME AND
 SIGNATURE OF THE DESIGNER OF RECORD- SEC. 107.2.1 WPB.
  
 5) G.1: UNADDRESSED 1ST REVIEW COMMENTS #2, 3 & 4 ARE
 LISTED BELOW- PLEASE COMPLY.
  
 2) G.1: AS PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED IN THE 1ST REVIEW,
 PROVIDE COMBUSTION AIR CALCULATIONS FOR THE RANGE IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. G2407.1 FBC RES. IF USING THE
 STANDARD METHOD PER SEC. G2407.5.1 THE MINIMUM REQUIRED
 VOLUME SHALL BE 50 CU.FT. PER 1,000 BTUH.
  
 3) G.1: AS PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED IN THE 1ST REVIEW, THE
 LOCATION OF THE GAS DRYER IN THE BATHROOM CLOSET IS
 ALLOWED ONLY IF IT MEETS SEC. G2406.2 ITEM 5- THE
 CLOSET DOOR SHALL BE A SOLID WEATHER-STRIPPED DOOR
 EQUIPPED WITH AN APPROVED SELF-CLOSING DEVICE. ALL
 COMBUSTION AIR SHALL BE TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE
 OUTDOORS IN USING PERMANENT OPENINGS DESIGNED
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION G2407.6. BECAUSE THERE ARE
 ADJACENT STORAGE ROOMS OUTSIDE OF THE LAUNDRY CLOSET
 ITEM 6 UNDER SEC. G2406.2 WOULD NOT APPLY.
  
 4) G.1: AS PREVIOUSLY NOTED THE PLANS SHOW A
 STORAGE-TANK GAS WATER HEATER ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE
 BUILDING. STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATERS ARE TYPICALLY
 DESIGNED FOR INDOOR USE OR WOULD HAVE TO BE IN A
 WEATHERPROOF ENCLOSURE ON THE EXTERIOR- SEC. G2448.1.
 PLEASE PROVIDE ENCLOSURE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS, AND
 PROVIDE COMBUSTION AIR AND VENTING DETAILS FOR THE
 UNIT- SECS. G2407.1 & G2427.1.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
