 NOTE:
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 901.2 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 801.3
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS,
 COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE

 1- SOUTH BUILDING SCOPE OF WORK IS NOT CLEAR:
 A)ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS, THE SOUTH BUILDING HAS A
 GARAGE AND ONE APARTMENT ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND TWO
 APARTMENTS ON THE SECOND FLOOR (THREE UNITS TOTAL).
 SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS IS NOT CLEAR. IT LOOKS
 LIKE THE UNIT ON THE FIRST FLOOR IS GOING TO BE
 CONVERTED TO A POOL CABANA AND THE SECOND FLOOR IS
 GOING TO BE CONVERTED TO A SINGLE APARTMENT. REVISE
 SCOPE OF WORK ON PERMIT APPLICATION AND PLANS
 DESCRIPTION TO CLEARLY INDICATE EXISTING AND PROPOSED
 USE. A NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY WILL BE REQUIRED.
 SEC. 606 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 1001 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B)DEMOLITION PLAN ON SHEET 6 HAS NOTE STATING "NO WORK
 @ SECOND FLOOR OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURE". THE SECOND
 FLOOR PLAN OF THE SOUTH BUILDING SHOWS A SINGLE
 DWELLING UNIT WITH 2 KITCHENS. ACCORDING TO CITY
 RECORDS, . THE SOUTH BUILDING HAS TWO APARTMENTS ON THE
 SECOND FLOOR. THERE ARE NO PERMITS ON RECORD FOR THE
 UNIFICATION OF THE TWO DWELLING UNITS INTO ONE. PROVIDE
 COMPLETE INFORMATION ON PLANS SHOWING THE CONVERSION.
 REVISE SCOPE OF WORK ON PERMIT APPLICATION AND PLANS TO
 CLEARLY INDICATE EXISTING AND PROPOSED USE. A NEW
 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY WILL BE REQUIRED. SEC. 606
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 1001 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- PROJECT LOCATION SHOWN ON SHEET 2 IS INCORRECT.

 NOTE: ARCHITECT TO SHOW NORTH ARROW ON EACH FLOOR PLAN
 TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 3- ENERGY CALCULATIONS:
 A)SEPARATE ENERGY CALCULATIONS IS REQUIRED FOR EACH
 BUILDING. MAIN HOUSE AND GARAGE/APT STRUCTURE. SEC.
 R101.3 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 NOTE: ENERGY CALCULATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED ONCE THEY
 ARE SUBMITTED FOR EACH BUILDING TO VERIFY BUILDING
 SPECIFIC INFORMATION.
  
 B)SUBMIT ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND A/C EQUIPMENT LOAD
 CALCULATIONS ON SEPARATE PDF FILES. THIS WILL HELP
 EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS AND WILL HELP TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS IF ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE APPROVED
 AND EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS ARE NOT OR VICE VERSA
 SINCE A/C CALCULATIONS ARE DONE UNDER A SEPARATE
 MECHANICAL REVIEW. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 C)PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING OWNER NAME, BUILDER NAME, PERMIT OFFICE AND
 JURISDICTION NUMBER (THIS JURISDICTION IS 604700).
 SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 D)ROOF TYPE AND MATERIAL TO MATCH PLANS FOR EACH
 BUILDING.

 FROM NON-A/C AREAS. NOT FROM GARAGE TO OUTSIDE.

 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET 2. NEED DOOR
 THAT MEETS OR EXCEEDS THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
 SEC R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B)WINDOW MULLIONS (NOTE: NEED TO SPECIFY MULLION SIZE
 FOR ALL HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL MULLIONS TO BE
