 DRAINAGE. PROVIDE DRAINAGE PLAN SHOWING HOW THE SURFACE
 DRAINAGE IS KEPT WITHIN THE LOT AND NOT DIVERTED TO
 ADJACENT PROPERTIES. PROVIDE DRAINAGE PLAN SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS: R401.3
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SEC. 107.2.5 CITY AMENDMENTS AND SEC.
 110.9 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: DRAINAGE PLAN TO SHOW THE EXISTING AND PROPOSED
 GRADE ELEVATIONS SHOWING HOW KEEPING WATER AWAY FROM
 ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
  
 RESPONSE:
 1- SITE DRAINAGE PLANS HAVE AN ENGINEER'S
 SELF-CERTIFIED DIGITAL SIGNATURE. ENGINEER CANNOT
 SELF-CERTIFY THE DIGITAL SIGNATURE. THIRD PARTY
 CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED BY FAC 61G15-23.004. (NOTE:
 ENGINEER TO CONTACT THE BOARD OF ENGINEER'S FOR
 SELF-CERTIFIED DIGITAL SIGNATURE QUESTIONS).
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 STAIRWAY CONSTRUCTION: DIMENSIONS, RISERS, TREADS,
 NOSING, HANDRAILS, GUARDRAILS, ETC. SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R311.7 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 RESPONSE:
 EVEN THOUGH THIS WILL BE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL, THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD STILL NEEDS TO SPECIFY THE DESIGN
 GUIDELINES REQUIRED BY TABLE R301.5, SEC. R311.7. AND
 SEC. R312.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. NOTE: JUST CITING THE CODE
 SECTION IS NOT ALLOWED (SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS).
 CLEARLY SPECIFY ON PLANS THE DESIGN GUIDELINES AND
 STATE ON DRAWINGS THAT SHOP DRAWINGS NEED TO BE
 SUBMITTED FOR DESIGNER OF RECORD REVIEW. ALL SHOP
 DRAWINGS TO BE REVIEWED BY THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL TO THIS OFFICE.
 NOTE: OPEN RISERS NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF SEC.
 R311.7.5.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- LIVING AREA SLIDING GLASS DOORS. BASED ON PLANS AND
 DOOR SCHEDULE, IT LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE TWO SLIDING
 GLASS DOORS MULLED TOGETHER. SPECIFY MULLION SIZE AND
 CONNECTIONS AND PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL.. SEC. R301.1

 EVEN THOUGH THIS WILL BE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL, THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD STILL NEEDS TO SPECIFY THE MULLION
 TYPE, SIZE AND CONNECTORS.

 8- BALCONY GUARDRAIL: IT IS NOT CLEAR WHAT TYPE OF
 RAILING IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED. SECOND FLOOR PLANS
 SPECIFIES 36" HIGH RAILING W/ PICKETS TO REJECT A 4"
 DIAM. SPHERE, WHILE REAR ELEVATION SHOWS GUARDRAIL THAT
 LOOKS LIKE A CABLE SYSTEM. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH
 AND PROVIDE THE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE GUARDRAIL SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 TABLE R301.5, SEC. R311.7.8 AND SEC. R312.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: SUBSEQUENT SHOP DRAWINGS ARE TO CONFIRM THAT
 DESIGN DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE MET.

 CERTIFY AT THE OWNER/AGENT LINE AT THE BOTTOM OF FORM
 THAT THE BUILDING IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE, AS
 PER SECTION 553.907, FLORIDA STATUTES, PRIOR TO
 RECEIVING THE PERMIT TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OR
 RENOVATION AS REQUIRED BY SECTION R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
