 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED.
  
 1) THIS NAIL SALON REQUIRES A TOTAL OF 693 CFMS OF
 OUTDOOR AIR FOR THE 28 PEOPLE AND THE SPACE.
  
 2) THIS NAIL SALON ALSO REQUIRES A TOTAL OF 663 CFMS OF
 EXHAUST. THE 50 CFMS FOR THE STATIONS CAN BE PART OF
 THIS TOTAL IF WHERE ONE OR MORE REQUIRED SOURCE CAPTURE
 SYSTEMS OPERATE CONTINUOUSLY DURING OCCUPANCY, THE
 EXHAUST RATE FROM SUCH SYSTEMS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE
 APPLIED TO THE EXHAUST FLOW RATE REQUIRED BY TABLE
 403.3.1.1 FOR THE NAIL SALON. PLEASE SHOW IF ALL OR
 SOME WILL BE CONTINUOUS ON THE DRAWING. WE MUST ALSO
 COUNT THE BATHROOM EXHAUST WHICH IS SHOWN IN THE BATH
 FAN SCHEDULE TO BE 110 CFMS WHICH WOULD MEAN THE TOTAL
 REQUIRED EXHAUST FOR THIS SPACE IS 773 CFMS.
  
 3) SHEET M-1: THE RTUS INDICATED TO BE 2-TON UNITS.
 PROVIDE THE SPECS FOR THESE UNITS INDICATING THE
 OUTDOOR AIR THAT CAN BE BROUGHT IN FROM THE
 MANUFACTURE. TYPICALLY, A 5-TON UNIT CAN ONLY CONDITION
 350 CFMS OF OUTDOOR AIR.
  
 4) SHEET M-2 EXHAUST DETAILS 5 STATES; EXHAUST OF ALL
 EXTRACTED AIR FROM THE NAIL SALON TO THE OUTDOOR
 ATMOSPHERE.
  
 5) THIS NAIL SALON IS REQUIRED TO HAVE 693 CFMS OF
 OUTDOOR AIR BROUGHT IN FOR THE 28 PEOPLE AND THE SPACE.
 THIS NAIL SALON IS ALSO REQUIRED TO EXHAUST 763 CFMS OF
 AIR. PLEASE SHOW HOW THIS WILL BE BALANCED. FMC

 6) SHEET M-1: PLEASE EXPLAIN THE 4 INCH DUCT AUTO FRESH
 AIR DAMPER AND DUCT. THE UNITS CONDITIONING THE SPACE
 ARE RTUS. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS DUCT? IF THIS IS
 BRINGING AIR INTO THE SPACE IT WILL NEED TO BE
 CONDITIONED AS HUMIDITY WILL BE AN ISSUE.
  
 7) SHEET M-1: THE RTUS INDICATED TO BE 2-TON UNITS.
 PROVIDE THE SPECS FOR THESE UNITS INDICATING THE
 OUTDOOR AIR THAT CAN BE BROUGHT IN FROM THE
 MANUFACTURE. TYPICALLY, A 5-TON UNIT CAN ONLY CONDITION
 350 CFMS OF OUTDOOR AIR. THE CLOUD ON THE DRAWINGS
 INDICATE 430 CFMS IS BEING INTRODUCED TO THE RETURN AIR
 SYSTEM. HOW WILL THIS AIR BE INTRODUCED AND THEN
 CONDITIONED BY THE 2 2-TON RTUS?
  
  
  
 8) SUMMARY:
 PROVIDE A COMPLETE DESIGN FOR THE NAIL EXHAUST SYSTEM.
 IT APPEARS THAT THE 430 CFMS THAT IS BEING INTRODUCED
 TO EACH RTU ON SHEET M-1 IS ALSO MIXING WITH THE RETURN
 AIR FROM THE SPACE: SHEET M-2 DETAIL 4. THERE IS NO
 RETURN AIR DUCT SYSTEM SHOWN ON M-1. THE RTU BRINGS
 OUTDOOR AIR FROM OUTSIDE, HOW IS THIS ADDITIONAL AIR
 BEING CONDITIONED FROM THESE 2-TON RTUS? HOW MUCH
 OUTDOOR AIR ARE THE RTUS BRINGING INTO THIS SPACE? HOW
 WILL THE 2-TON RTUS CONDITION THE ADDITIONAL 860 CFMS?
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM.
