 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE PERMIT APPLICATION STATES SCOPE OF WORK TO
 REPLACE BATHTUB, VANITY, MIRROR & SOWER WALL TILE ALL
 FOR THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 DOLLARS. EXTREMELY
 LOW.
 2020 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL,
 THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION,
 STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING
 SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE
 APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 2) THE FLOOR PLAN DID NOT STATE WHAT TYPE OF BACKER
 BOARD IS GOING TO BE USED ON THE TUB SURROUND WALLS.
 2020 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. MATERIALS USED AS A
 BASE FOR WALL TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALLS
 AND CEILING PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS SHALL BE OF
 MATERIALS LISTED IN TABLE 2509.2 AND INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER???S RECOMMENDATIONS. WATER
 RESISTANT GYPSUM (MR BOARD) SHALL NOT BE USED FOR
 SHOWER & TUB ENCLOSURES.
  
 3) 2020 FBC-B SECTION 1208.2 MINIMUM CEILING HEIGHTS.
 PLEASE NOTE HABITABLE SPACES AND CORRIDORS SHALL HAVE
 CEILING HEIGHTS OF NOT THAN 7 FEET 6 INCHES, BATHROOMS,
 TOILET ROOMS, KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS AND LAUNDRY ROOMS
 SHALL NOT HAVE CEILING HEIGHT OF NOT LESS THAN 7 FEET.
  
 4) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
