 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
 1) SHEET A-1 DISCREPANCIES IN THE PLANS. 2020 WEST PALM
 BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER
 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL
 BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE
 AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT
 IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 1A) THE FLOOR PLAN STATES THE FINISH CEILING HEIGHT IS
 8FEET 1 INCH. THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE PLAN
 INDICATES 7 FEET 11 INCHES PLUS THREE INCHES EQUALS 8
 FEET TWO INCHES NOT EIGHT FEET ONE INCH.
  
 1B) SAME DETAIL THE NEW FRAMING DETAIL SHOWS A DROPPED
 CEILING HEIGHT OF THREE INCHES, THE SAME DETAIL
 INDICATES NEW 1 ?? INCH HIGH-HAT WITH ?? INCH DRYWALL,
 THAT ONLY EQUALS 2 INCHES, NOT 3 INCHES. WILL 2 INCHES
 BE ENOUGH FOR THE LOW PROFILE HI-HAT.
  
 1C) THE 3RD ISSUE THE PLAN STATES THE HI-HAT IS TO BE
 PINNED TO THE FLOOR SLAB ABOVE WITH ?? INCH PINS, POWER
 ACTIVATED? THE PLAN STATES THE HI-HAT TO BE PINNED
 24-INCH INTERVALS IS THAT FOR BOTH SIDES, NOT STATED.
  
 1D) STORAGE ROOM HAS A NEW 12INCH WIDE SOFFIT. SHEET
 E-1 HAS A FRAMING DETAIL, BUT NO HEIGHT IS GIVEN OF THE
 DROP FROM THE CONCRETE CEILING ABOVE?
  
 2) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
