 NOTE:
 LEVEL 1 ALTERATION. SEC. 602 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 702.6 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW WORK SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE MATERIALS AND METHODS REQUIREMENTS IN
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 1-FLOORING SOUND INSULATION MATERIAL:
 (A)PROVIDE COPY OF THE FLAME SPREAD INDEX AND SMOKE
 DEVELOPED INDEX TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84
 OR UL 723 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 720.1 OF FBC 7TH EDITION
 (2020).
  
 (B)PROVIDE COPY OF THE SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS (STC)
 TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 90 AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 1207.2 OF FBC 7TH EDITION (2020).
  
 (C)PROVIDE COPY OF THE IMPACT INSULATION CLASS (IIC)
 TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492 AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 1207.3 OF FBC 7TH EDITION (2020).
  
 NOTE: TEST SAMPLES TO MATCH BUILDING FLOOR/CEILING
 CONSTRUCTION AND PROPOSED FLOOR FINISH. ALSO, THERE ARE
 TESTS FOR 6" OR 8" CONCRETE SLABS WITH OR WITHOUT
 ACOUSTICAL CEILING. TYPICALLY THERE ARE NOT SUSPENDED
 ACOUSTICAL CEILINGS IN THESE BUILDINGS.
  
 2- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES (IF ANY) AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3
 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL COSTS.
  
 3- FLOOR PLAN SUBMITTED DOESN'T IDENTIFY AREAS TO HAVE
 NEW FLOORING AND DON'T IDENTIFY TYPE OF FLOORING FOR
 EACH AREA EITHER. PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: COORDINATE TYPE OF FLOORING WITH SOUNDPROOFING
 MATERIAL TESTING REQUIRED ON ITEM #1 ABOVE.
