 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) ON BOTH SHEETS A-1 & A-2 BOTH PLANS SHOW A RESTROOM
 BEHIND THE EXAM ROOM WITH NO WAY TO GET TO IT. THE SAME
 HOLDS TRUE ABOUT THE CORRIDOR/ HALL LEADING TO THE AREA
 WITH NEW DRINKING FOUNTAINS, THE LEGEND SHOWS AS
 EXISTING WALLS, NO DESIGNATION FOR HEADERS. 2020 WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO
 INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 2) SHEET A-1 SHOWS NEW DRINKING FOUNTAINS. THE PLANS
 FAIL TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION PROTRUDING OBJECTS
 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS 307.2. OBJECTS WITH LEADING
 EDGES MORE THAN 27 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 80 INCHES
 ABOVE THE FLOOR SHALL NOT PROTRUDE MORE THAN 4 INCHES
 HORIZONTALLY INTO THE CIRCULATION PATH.
  
 3) SHEET A-1 THE EXAM ROOM INDICATES A NEW 34-INCH-TALL
 CABINET WITH SINK, THE FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT INDICATE IF
 THE APPROACH IS FRONT OR SIDE APPROACH. 2020
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS:
  
 3A) 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE
 COMPLYING WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD APPROACH,
 AND KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE
 PROVIDED, SEE EXCEPTIONS ALSO, BUT SHOW THE REQUIRED
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE ON THE FLOOR PLAN.
  
 3B) 606.5 EXPOSED PIPES AND SURFACES. WATER SUPPLY &
 DRAINPIPES UNDER LAVATORIES AND SINKS SHALL BE
 INSULATED OR OTHERWISE CONFIGURED TO PROTECT AGAINST
 CONTACT.
  
 4) SHEET A-1 THE TOP OF THE SHEET THERE IS A NEW CLOSET
 AND DOOR # 2. THE DOOR SCHEDULE INDICATES THIS IS A
 3-FOOT-WIDE DOOR. THE HALLWAY AT THIS LOCATION IS 3
 FEET 6 ?? INCHES WIDE, IT ONLY LEAVES 6I/2 INCHES OF
 CLEARANCE. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE
 SECTION 1005.7.1. DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL NOT
 REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN ONE-HALF.
  
 5) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
