 A)NEW MULLION NOA 19-0405.10 SUBMITTED:
 SAME COMMENT APPLIES. 1X3 MULLIONS AND 2X3 MULLIONS
 DON'T MEET THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 RESPONSE:
 NEW 1X4 CUSTOM MULLION OR 2X4 MULLIONS DON'T MEET THE
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES FOR OPENINGS 3,4 AND 5.
 BECAUSE THE WIDTH OF THE WINDOW TO USE IS 54" NOT 48".
 THE WIDTH OF THE WINDOW IS THE SUM OF THE TWO WINDOWS
 ADJACENT TO THE MULLION AND DIVIDED BY 2. THEREFORE THE
 WIDTH IS 50.5". NEED TO USE THE 54" WIDTH OF PRODUCT
 APPROVAL SUBMITTED.
  
 PREVIOUS COMMENT:
 B)CLEARLY MARK ON THE PRODUCT APPROVAL MULLION
 FASTENING. SEC. 1609.1 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 RESPONSE:
 ANCHOR TYPE TO BE VERIFIED BASED ON CLARIFICATION OF
 ITEM ABOVE. ANCHOR TYPE IS BASED ON SUBSTRATE: CONCRETE
 OR MASONRY.
  
 PREVIOUS COMMENT:
 2- WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICES: WINDOW OPENING
 CONTROL DEVICES ARE REQUIRED WHEN THE WINDOW SILL OF AN
 OPERABLE WINDOW IS AT A HEIGHT LESS THAN 36 INCHES
 ABOVE THE FINISHED FLOOR.
 WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICES NEED TO COMPLY WITH ASTM
 F2090.
 CLEARLY SPECIFY IF THERE ARE ANY WINDOWS WHERE THE
 WINDOW SILL IS LESS THAN 36" ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR.
 SEE SEC. 702.4 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE.
  
 RESPONSE:
 THIS WILL BE VERIFIED IN THE FIELD BY THE BUILDING
 INSPECTOR. THIS COMMENT IS JUST TO GIVE HEADS UP ABOUT
 THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 NEW COMMENT BASED ON INFORMATION SUBMITTED:
 3- COMPONENTS AND CLADDING WALL PRESSURE CALCULATIONS
 WERE REVISED. NEW CALCULATIONS SPECIFY A MEAN ROOF
 HEIGHT OF 40 FEET. THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT IS INCORRECT.
 PER CITY RECORDS THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF THESE
 BUILDINGS IS 45'-8". REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 NOTE: PREVIOUS CALCULATIONS WERE ALMOST CORRECT, THEY
 SHOWED A MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF 45'.
  
 4- FIXED WINDOW NOA 20-1208.09. GLASS TYPE 'B' MARKED
 ON SHEET 2 OF 7 CANNOT BE USED. SEE DESIGN LOAD CHART
 ON SHEET 3 OF 7. NEED TO USE GLASS TYPE 'C', 'C1' OR
 'C2' OR PROVIDE ANOTHER PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WILL MEET
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
 I APOLOGIZE FOR NO MENTIONING THIS ON MY PREVIOUS
 COMMENTS.
