 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THIS PROJECT ENTAILS A BOARDWALK TRAIL IN THE
 SOUTHWEST SIDE OF CLEAR LAKE. TO DATE NO SOIL REPORTS,
 TEST RESULTS WERE SUBMITTED. SHEET B-1 HEADING SOILS
 INDICATES A SOILS REPORT BY RADISE INTERNATIONAL
 GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES REPORT OCT. 1/ 2020,
 PLEASE PROVIDE EITHER A PAPER SIGNED AND SEAL OR
 DIGITALLY SIGNED & SEALED.
 QUESTIONABLE SOILS. 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE
 THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE
 SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR
 TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 2) SHEET B-1 HEADING PILES INDICATE 14-INCH SQUARE FDOT
 PRESTRESSED CONCRETE PILE, SEE PILE DATA TABLE SHEET
 B-8. THE QUESTION IS SHEET B-10 SHOWS THE USE OF
 14-INCH PRESTRESSED PILE WHEREAS SHEET B-11 SHOWS THE
 DIAMOND PIERS? ARE THE DIAMOND PIERS BEING INSTALLED 10
 FEET ON CENTER BETWEEN THE 14-INCH PRESTRESSED PILE?
 107.2.1 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT
 CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF
 THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL
 CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT
 LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED
 BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 3) THE ICC-ES EVALUATION REPORT ESR-1895 REFERENCES
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL CODE. THE
 BEARING PIN PIERS ARE PERMITTED FOR USE IN ANY OF THE
 WEATHERING CLASSIFICATIONS DEFINED IN 2018 IRC FIGURE
 R301.2(4) WHICH IS THE ULTIMATE DESIGN WIND SPEED MAP.
 THERE IS NO MENTION OF THIS SYSTEM BEING USED FOR
 COMMERCIAL, BUILDING USE. DOES THE SOILS REPORT STATE
 THE USE OF THIS FOUNDATION?
  
 4) WHO OR WHAT COMPANY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
 RECORDING AND REPORTING OF THE DRIVEN PILE INSTALLATION
 AND DIAMOND PIER INSTALLATION. 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE
 1810.1.
