 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) 2ND ROUND OF COMMENTS. PLEASE NOTE THE FLOOR PLAN
 UNDERLAYMENT WAS CHANGED TO SUPER SIM 90 AND THE FLOOR
 PLAN STATES THE FINISH FLOOR TO BE INSTALLED IS
 ENGINEERED 5 INCH PLANK WOOD FLOORING. AGAIN THE
 FLOORING APPROVAL (TESTING REPORT THAT THE CITY HAS ON
 FILE FOR PROFLEX IS FOR TILE NOT WOOD FLOORING. THE
 CITY IS IN RECEIPT OF PROFLEX LV200, 12MM LAMINATED
 WOOD WITH A STC OF 50 AND IIC RATING OF 54 PLUS FLAME
 SPREAD REPORT, IF YOU WISH TO USE A PROFLEX PRODUCT
 CHECK WITH YOUR DISTRIBUTORS FOR INVENTORY. THIS WE CAN
 ISSUE A PERMIT WITH , YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE PLAN, WE
 CAN SUPPLY COPIES OF TEST.
  
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. WITHIN THE DOCUMENT FILE THERE
 IS A BULLETIN FOR PROFLEX SUPER SIM -90, THE SUBMITTED
 FLOOR PLAN THERE ARE STATEMENTS FOR THE UNDERLAYMENT TO
 BE PROTECTO WHISPER MAT HW AND THE FINISH FLOOR TYPE 5
 INCH ENGINEERED PLANK WOOD FLOORING. PLEASE CORRECT THE
 DISCREPANCIES IN UNDERLAYMENTS. PLEASE ALSO NOTE SUPER
 SIM 90 HAS NOT BEEN TESTED FOR USE WITH ENGINEERED WOOD
 (WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY TEST AS OF TODAY).
 IF WHISPER MAT HW IS TO BE INSTALLED PLEASE SUBMIT THE
 (3) TEST REPORT.
  
 FLOOR INSULATION/ UNDERLAYMENT (FBC-B 2020) FOR TILE,
 STONE, MARBLE, VINYL (LYT/ LYP), LAMINATE FLOORING AND
 WOOD FLOORING ALL NEED TO HAVE HAD THE SOUND
 UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR ASSEMBLIES TO THE FOLLOWING
 STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS LISTED UNDER EACH
 OF THE STANDARDS FOR A 6 INCH CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/
 NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THREE TEST REPORTS FOR TYPE I AND OR
 TYPE II BUILDINGS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 1A) FBC-B 2020 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.
  
 1B) FBC-B 2020 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND. WALLS,
 PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES SEPARATING
 DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM PUBLIC OR
 SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS
 (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED) FOR
 AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E
 90.
  
 1C) FBC-B 804.4.4.1 SOFT FLOOR FINISHES (LVT/ LPT OR
 LAMINATED OR ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING) WITHIN TENANT
 SPACE. INTERIOR FLOOR COVERING MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE COC FF-1 ?PILL TEST? (CPSC
 16 CFR PART 1630) OR WITH ASTM D2859.
 OR
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 2) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
