 RESPONSES INDICATE THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE SOUTH
 ROOFTOP POOL HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL
 POOL FOR THE PENTHOUSE APARTMENT HOWEVER THE PLANS DO
 NOT APPEAR TO REFLECT THE CHANGE. I AM UNABLE TO LOCATE
 ANY PLAN WHICH LABELS THE POOL AS A PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL
 POOL FOR PENTHOUSE RESIDENT USE ONLY. THE REPEATED
 STATEMENT IN THE NARRATIVE THAT THE POOL ENTRY IS
 ACCESS CONTROLLED DOES NOT APPEAR RELEVANT TO POOL
 CLASSSIFICATIONS AS DEFINED IN SECS. 454.1.1& 454.2.2
 FBC B.
 FAILED 1ST REVIEW COMMENTS ARE LISTED BELOW WITH
 ADDITIONAL NOTES.
  
 1) FAILED. SHEET PL0.21: PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE UTILITY
 PLAN FOR THE ROOF TOP POOL- SEC. 107.2.1 WPB. SHOW THE
 POINTS OF CONNECTIONS TO WATER SUPPLY LINE, WASTE AND
 STORM DRAIN LINES, GAS PIPING, AND ELECTRICAL SERVICE.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WATER SUPPLY TO THE POOL SHALL BE
 PROTECTED AGAINST BACKFLOW WITH AN RPZ TYPE BACKFLOW
 PREVENTER WHICH SHALL BE INSTALLED UNDER A SEPARATE
 PERMIT. SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE DEVICE AND PROVIDE
 NOTES TO INDICATE COMPLIANCE- SEC. 105.1, 107.2.1 WPB,
 AND WPB UTILITIES CROSS-CONNECTION MANUAL.
 THE ARCHITECT'S NARRATIVE REFERENCES SHEET P5.03S AND
 SS/19 FOR POOL BACKWASH INTO FUNNEL DRAIN. PLEASE NOTE
 THE DRAINAGE SHALL NOT DISCHARGE INTO THE SANITARY
 SEWER- SEC. 90-126 (5) WPB CODE OF ORDINANCES.

 POOL VIA THE SUMP PUMP IN THE EQUIPMENT ROOM SHALL NOT
 DRAIN INTO THE SANITARY SYSTEM. WASTEWATER FROM THE
 POOL AND THE POOL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE DECHLORINATED AND
 DISCHARGED THROUGH AN AIR GAP IN THE INTO THE STORM
 DRAINAGE SYSTEM- SEC. 454.1.6.5.15 & SEC. 90-126(5) WPB
 CODE OF ORDINANCES. THE WASTEWATER SHALL NOT DISCHARGE
 INTO THE SANITARY SYSTEM. PLEASE REVIEW WPB BUILDING
 DEPT. GUIDELINES FOR POOL WATER DISPOSAL. THE ENGINEER
 OF RECORD SHALL SHOW THE DECHLORINATION SYSTEM ON THE
 PLAN AND PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL EQUIPMENT.
 PLEASE SEE GUIDELINES BELOW-
  
 SWIMMING POOL WATER MAY BE DISCHARGED TO THE CITY
 STORMWATER SEWER ONLY IF THE WATER IS DECHLORINATED
 ACCORDING TO SECTION 90-205(1) OF THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES. SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECIFICATION FOR THE DECHLORINATION SYSTEM FOR REVIEW
 AND STAMPING BEFORE THE INSPECTION. AT THE TIME OF POOL
 WATER DISCHARGE, THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REQUIRED:
 A) THE RECEIVING INLET MUST BE PROTECTED (FILTER CLOTH
 TO KEEP EXCESS SEDIMENTS FROM ROADWAY WASHING INTO THE
 INLET).
 B) NO DISCHARGE HOSE CAN BE DIRECTLY INSERTED INTO THE
 INLET TO DISCHARGE EFFLUENT.
 C) WHENEVER POSSIBLE, DISCHARGE EFFLUENT SHALL BE
 ALLOWED TO FILTER THROUGH GRASS AREA ON THE POOL
 OWNER'S PROPERTY BEFORE DISCHARGING ON CITY PROPERTY.
 D) DISCHARGE SHALL NOT FLOOD STREETS OR NEIGHBORING
 PROPERTY.

 WASTEWATER AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DISPOSAL LOCATIONS.
