 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE SHEET C-2 THE SITE PLAN & C3 ENLARGED SITE PLAN:
 1A) A SEPARATE PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR THE STRIPING OF
 THE PARKING LOT AND REQUIRED ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES
 AND ACCESS AISLES. 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES. 208.3. LOCATION.
 PARKING SPACES COMPLYING WITH 502 THAT SERVE A
 PARTICULAR BUILDING OR FACILITY SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE
 SHORTEST ACCESSIBLE ROUTE FROM PARKING TO AN ENTRANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 206.4.
  
 1B) 2020 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 502.4 ACCESS AISLE
 & PARKING SPACE SAME LEVEL/ 502.4, FLOOR AND GROUND
 SURFACES. PARKING SPACES AND THE ACCESS AISLES SERVING
 THEM SHALL COMPLY WITH 302. ACCESS AISLES SHALL BE AT
 THE SAME LEVEL AS THE PARKING SPACES THEY SERVE.
 CHANGES IN LEVEL ARE NOT PERMITTED. EXCEPTION: SLOPES
 NOT GREATER THAN 1:48 SHALL BE PERMITTED.
  
 1C) THERE IS NO DETAIL OF THE TRANSITION FROM THE
 SIDEWALK TO THE ACCESS AISLE SHOWING A DROPPED CURB.
 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 406.5. LOCATION.
 CURB RAMPS AND THE FLARED SIDES OF THE CURB RAMPS SHALL
 NOT BE LOCATED SO THAT THEY DO NOT PROJECT INTO
 VEHICULAR TRAFFIC LANES, PARKING SPACES, OR PARKING
 ACCESS AISLES. CURB RAMPS AT MARKED CROSSINGS SHALL BE
 WHOLLY CONTAINS WITHIN THE MARKINGS, EXCLUDING FLARED
 SIDES. ALSO SEE FIGURE 406.4. LANDINGS AT THE TOP OF
 CURB RAMPS.
  
 1D) 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE, ACCESSIBLE PARKING
 SPACES MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF 302.1 GROUND AND
 FLOOR SURFACES SHALL BE STABLE, FIRM, AND SLIP
 RESISTANT AND SHALL COMPLY WITH 302.
 ADVISORY 302.1. A STABLE SURFACE IS ONE THAT REMAINS
 UNCHANGED BY CONTAMINANTS OR APPLIED FORCES SO THAT
 WHEN THE CONTAMINANT OR FORCE IS REMOVED, THE SURFACE
 RETURNS TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION.
  
 1E) THE DRAWING INDEX INDICATES THERE SHOULD BE A SHEET
 S3.0 ATTIC FLOOR STRUCTURAL FRAMING PLAN, MISSING FROM
 PLAN SET. 107.2.1. 2020 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION
 107.2.1. DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN
 INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO
 THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO
 CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION
 SHALL BE SPECIFIC TO THE TECHNICAL CODES. CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE
 LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND
 SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND
 REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 2) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET LS1:
 2A) THE LS1 SHEET AND A8 SHOW A UNISEX ACCESSIBLE
 BATHROOM (SHOWER). THE SHOWER IS DEPICTED AS A 3X3 FOOT
 MODULAR PAN SHOWER. ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SHOWER
 ENTRY IS AN EXTERIOR WALL. ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE
 SHOWER THERE IS A WALL THAT PROJECTS OUT PAST THE
 SHOWER APPROXIMATELY 1 FOOT. THE 3 X3 FOOT SHOWER IS
 CONSIDERED A TRANSFER TYPE SHOWER SEE 608.2.1
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE AND REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL ONE-FOOT
 CLEARANCE BEYOND THE SHOWER OPENING TO BE ABLE TO
 TRANSFER FROM A WHEELCHAIR WHEN PARALLEL WITH THE FRONT
 OF THE SHOWER. SEE FIGURE 608.2.1.
 2B) THE LS1 SHEET AND A8 SHOW HIGH/ LOW DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS. DETAILS ON SHEET A8 SHOW A SIDE VIEW OF THE
 LOW SIDE DRINKING FOUNTAIN AT A HEIGHT OF 2 FEET 3
 INCHES FROM THE FLOOR LEVEL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE
 DRINKING FOUNTAIN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS. THE
 LEFT-HAND SIDE DRINKING FOUNTAIN MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS
 FOR STANDING OCCUPANTS BUT DOES NOT AS DEPICTED MEET
 THE PROTRUSION LIMITS, THE BOTTOM OF THE DRINKING
 FOUNTAIN IS HIGHER THAN 27 INCHES FROM THE FLOOR.
  
 2C) NEITHER THE LS1 NOR SHEET A8 SHOW THE REQUIRED 30 X
 48 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE FOR THE TRANSFER SHOWER (FIGURE
 608.2.1) NOT THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN (602.2).
  
 2D) GROUND FLOOR OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR IS TAKEN AT
 1:100. THIS WAS TRUE UNDER THE 2017 FBC-BUILDING CODE.
 THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE TABLE 1004.5 FOR BUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY THE OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR CHANGED TO 150 NOT
 100. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLANS.
  
  
 3) SHEET A6.0:
 3A) PLEASE NOTE THE COVERSHEET LIST THIS CONSTRUCTION
 TYPE AS IIB NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING. THE BUILDING
 SECTIONS ON SHEET A6.0 DO NOT INDICATE IF THE TRUSSED
 ARCH IS STEEL OR LAMINATED WOOD? THE SECTION ALSO
 FAILED TO DEFINE THE ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS/ PURLINS AND
 THE ROOF SHEATHING MATERIAL? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED. 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE 603.1 .1.3 ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING GIRDERS, TRUSSES FRAMING AND
 DECKING. ALL MUST BE FIRE RETARDANT TREATED WOOD.
  
 3B) SECTION 2 & 3 BOTH SHOW A EXISTING CRAWL SPACE THE
 PLAN DOES NOT SHOW HOW THE ADDITIONAL GRAVITY LOADS
