 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 3RD REVIEW

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) FLOORING VALUATION. THE PERMIT VALUE OF THIS PERMIT
 IS VERY LOW AT $2,100.00 DOLLARS. THE CALCULATED VALUE
 OF THIS PERMIT IS 1132 SQ. FT. X $8.68/ SQ. FT. = $
 9,825.00 FOR UNDERLAYMENT VINYL FLOORING. OWES FEES.
  
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING OR ALTERATION APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON
 THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDING OR
 ALTERATION THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF
 THE ALTERATION SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO
 INCLUDE DEMOLITION, DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS, FLOOR FLASH

 FLOORING IS BEING INSTALLED, BUT THE PRODUCTS LINE
 WHISPER MAT CS SUBMITTED ON THE 2ND REVIEW, FOR TILE
 AND MARBLE NOT VINYL. 3RD REVIEW LITERATURE WAS
 SUBMITTED FOR WHISPER MAT HW FOR HARDWOOD AND WOOD
 LAMINATE FLOORING. SUBMIT PRODUCT TESTING REPORTS THAT
 ALIGNS WITH PROPOSED FLOORING VINYL FLOORING.
  
 1ST ROUND COMMENTS. FLOOR INSULATION/ UNDERLAYMENT
 (FBC-B 2020) FOR TILE, STONE, MARBLE, VINYL (LYT/ LYP),
 LAMINATE FLOORING AND WOOD FLOORING ALL NEED TO HAVE
 HAD THE SOUND UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR ASSEMBLIES TO
 THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS
 LISTED UNDER EACH OF THE STANDARDS FOR A 6 INCH
 CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/ NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THREE TEST REPORTS FOR TYPE I AND OR
 TYPE II BUILDINGS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 2A) 3RD ROUND. FBC-B 2020 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.
  
 2B) 3RD ROUND. FBC-B 2020 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 2C) 3RD ROUND. FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2020 603.1.
 EXCEPTION 2. INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED
 FLOOR AND SOLID DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE
 SHALL BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT
 MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 OR FOR VINYL FLOORING.
  
 LVT & LPT LUXURY VINYL TILE. FLOOR FINISH
 CLASSIFICATION AS REQUIRED IN SECTION 804.2
 CLASSIFICATION AND 804.3 TESTING AND IDENTIFICATION OF

 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
