 MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1) THERE IS AN INDICATION OF AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY ON A
 ROOF TOP OF A FIRE SPRINKLERED BUILDING THAT HAS
 ATTACHED ROOFING/CANOPIES FOR OCCUPANCY UNDER THEM.
  
 THE EXISTING FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM OF THE BUILDING IS
 REQUIRED TO BE EXTENDED INTO THE ATTACHED OCCUPIED
 SPACES.
  
 PER NFPA 101CHAPTER 12
  
 12.3.5 EXTINGUISHMENT REQUIREMENTS.
 12.3.5.1 THE FOLLOWING ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE
 PROTECTED
 THROUGHOUT BY AN APPROVED, SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH 9.7.1.1(1):
 (1) DANCE HALLS
 (2) DISCOTHEQUES
 (3) NIGHTCLUBS
 (4) ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES WITH FESTIVAL SEATING
  
 PLEASE REVIEW AND PROVIDE FOR FIRE SPRINKLER
 PROTECTION.
  
  
 2) THERE IS NO INDICATION OF FIRE ALARM PROTECTION.
  
 THERE IS AN EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WITHIN THE
 BUILDING.
  
 ANY NOTIFICATION OF THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM SHALL BE
 EXTENDED FOR PROTECTION OF THIS NEW AREA.
  
 PER NFPA 101 CH 12
  
 12.3.4.1.2 ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES THAT ARE A PART OF A
 MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY
 PROTECTED AS A MIXED OCCUPANCY (SEE 6.1.14) SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO BE
 SERVED BY A COMMON FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, PROVIDED THAT THE
 INDIVIDUAL
 REQUIREMENTS OF EACH OCCUPANCY ARE MET.
  
  
 3) SHEET E 102 - THERE ARE INDICATIONS OF EXITS SIGNS
 HOWEVER, A REVIEW OF THE EXIT LOCATIONS REQUIRES
 MODIFICATION AND ADDITION.
  
 A) THE EXIT SIGN AT THE WEST END AT THE STAIRWAY DOES
 NOT APPEAR TO BE VISABLE FROM THE EAST END OF WALKWAY.
 IT APPEARS THAT IT CAN BE MORE VISABLE MOVED TO THE
 NORTH.
  
 B) THERE IS NO EXIT SIGN IN THE BAR AREA LEADING PEOPLE
 TO SOUTH STAIRWAY.
  
 C) THERE IS NO EXIT SIGN LEADING PEOPLE TO THE SOUTH
 STIRWAY FROM THE ROUNDED CORNER PRIVATE LOUNGE AREA.
  
 D) THE EXIT SIGN AT THE SOUTH STAIRWAY MAY NOT BE
 VISABLE FROM THE OPEN BAR AREA.
  
  
  
 4) SHEETS ELECTRICAL - IT IS NOT CLEAR IF EMERGENCY
 LIGHTING IS PROVIDED THAT ILLUMINATES THE MEANS OF
 EGRESS.
  
 PER NFPA 12
  
 12.2.9 EMERGENCY LIGHTING.
 12.2.9.1 EMERGENCY LIGHTING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 7.9.
  
 7.9 EMERGENCY LIGHTING
 7.9.1 GENERAL.
 7.9.1.1* EMERGENCY LIGHTING FACILITIES FOR MEANS OF
 EGRESS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7.9 FOR THE
 FOLLOWING:
 (1) BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES WHERE REQUIRED IN CHAPTERS
 11 THROUGH 43
 (2) UNDERGROUND AND LIMITED ACCESS STRUCTURES AS
 ADDRESSED IN
 SECTION 11.7
 (3) HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS AS REQUIRED BY OTHER SECTIONS
 OF THIS CODE
 (4) DOORS EQUIPPED WITH DELAYED-EGRESS LOCKS
 (5) STAIR SHAFTS AND VESTIBULES OF SMOKEPROOF
 ENCLOSURES, FOR WHICH
 THE FOLLOWING ALSO APPLY:
 (A) THE STAIR SHAFT AND VESTIBULE SHALL BE PERMITTED TO
 INCLUDE A
 STANDBY GENERATOR THAT IS INSTALLED FOR THE SMOKEPROOF
 ENCLOSURE
 MECHANICAL VENTILATION EQUIPMENT.
 (B) THE STANDBY GENERATOR SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE USED
 FOR THE
 STAIR SHAFT AND VESTIBULE EMERGENCY LIGHTING POWER
 SUPPLY.
 (6) NEW SENSOR-RELEASE OF ELECTRICAL LOCKING SYSTEMS IN
 ACCORDANCE
 WITH 7.2.1.6.2
  
 7.9.1.2 FOR THE PURPOSES OF 7.9.1.1, EXIT ACCESS SHALL
 INCLUDE ONLY DESIGNATED
 STAIRS, AISLES, CORRIDORS, RAMPS, ESCALATORS, AND
 PASSAGEWAYS
 LEADING TO AN EXIT. FOR THE PURPOSES OF 7.9.1.1, EXIT
 DISCHARGE SHALL
 INCLUDE ONLY DESIGNATED STAIRS, RAMPS, AISLES,
 WALKWAYS, AND ESCALATORS
 LEADING TO A PUBLIC WAY.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE PRPOSED EMERGENCY
 LIGHTING MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS.
  
  
  
 5) GENERAL INFOMATION - PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS FOR ANY
 PROPOSED OPEN FLAME ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING AND/OR PROPANE
 HEATERS/PROPANE DECORATIVE LIGHTING.
  
  
 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PROVIDE PLAN SHEET
 REVISION CLOUDS OR NUMBERED NARRATIVE RESPONSES TO THE
 ABOVE.
  
  
 7) ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE PROVIDED ON THE
