 1-THIS BUILDING IS GOING TO BE BUILT IN A AE FLOOD ZONE
 WITH THE BASE FLOOD BFE: 6 & 7 FEET BASED ON NAVD 1988.
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ORDINANCE REQUIRES A TWO (2)
 FOOT FREE BOARD ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (SEC.
 18-284 CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4729-17). NEED TO SPECIFY THE
 PROPOSED FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION IN ALL FLOOR PLANS
 BASED ON NAVD 1988. SEC.107.3.5.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: DURING THE PERMITTING OF THIS STRUCTURE THREE
 DIFFERENT FLOOD ELEVATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE REQUIRED
 (SEC. 107.3.5.1.1 CITY AMENDMENTS):
 A) CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS.
 B) BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
 C) FINISHED CONSTRUCTION.
  
 NOTE:
 NEED TO PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE NOW FOR REVIEW.
  
 RESPONSE:
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE SUBMITTED IS FOR THE MAIN
 RESIDENCE. NEED TO PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE FOR THE PROPOSED BUILDING.
 NOTE: FLOOD VENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR GARAGE AND EXISTING
 STORAGE/SHED. REVISE PLANS AS REQUIRED.
 ALSO, CLARIFY IF USING ENGINEERED FLOOD VENTS OR
 NON-ENGINEERED FLOOD VENTS. IF USING ENGINEERED FLOOD
 VENTS, THEN PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (IT MAY BE
 DEFERRED) AND WRITE STATEMENT REQUIRED BY SEC. R322.2.2
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.

 DESCRIPTION AND USE OF EXISTING STRUCTURE SHOWN ON THE
 SOUTH EAST CORNER OF THE PROPOSED GARAGE IS NOT CLEAR.
 SURVEY, ARCHITECT'S SITE PLAN(DWG SP-1) AND STRUCTURAL
 PLANS CALLS IT "BATH HOUSE", WHILE ALL OTHER
 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS CALLS IT "STORAGE/SHED". REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH IN ORDER TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.

 DESIGN PRESSURES WERE NOT REVISED. BASED ON EXPOSURE D,
 HEIGHT (28.5 FT), EDGE DISTANCE (5'-0")SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS AND THE HEIGHT AND EXPOSURE ADJUSTMENT FROM TABLE
 R301.2(3) THE DESIGN PRESSURES NEED TO BE HIGHER.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED OR PROVIDE ACTUAL CALCULATIONS FOR
 EACH OPENING.
 NOTE: SIZE OF GARAGE DOOR SPECIFIED ON PLAN IS NOT
 LISTED ON TABLE R301.2(4) FBC-RESIDENTIAL. YOU MAY USE
 THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR 9X7 DOOR OR PROVIDE
 CALCULATIONS BASED ON THE ACTUAL SIZE OF SPECIFIED

 WINDOW OVERHANG SEPARATION FOR WINDOWS LOCATED ON THE
 GABLE END SIDES IS INCORRECT. ALSO, CALCULATIONS ARE
 NOW MISSING THE FRENCH GLASS DOOR ON THE EAST
 ELEVATION. THIS DOOR WAS CONSIDERED IN THE PREVIOUS
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND NOW IT WAS DELETED. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH PLANS.

 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL):
 A)EXTERIOR DOORS.
 B)WINDOWS.
 C)HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF DOORS AND WINDOWS DON'T HAVE
 IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE. SEE CITY SAMPLE.
 D)DECORATIVE SHUTTERS AND SPECIFY FASTENING.
 E)ROOF TILE AND CLEARLY SPECIFY ROOF TILE FASTENING
 METHOD.
 F) ROOF TILE ADHESIVE (IF USED) AND CLEARLY SPECIFY
 PADDY SIZE.
 G)ROOF TILE HIP & RIDGE METAL SUPPORT TO BE USED.
 CLEARLY MARK WHICH ONE WILL BE USED.
 H) FLOOD VENTS. COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE.
  
 16- DEFERRED SUBMITTAL:
 GUARDRAILS AND HANDRAILS.
 (NOTE: PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. INFORMATION TO
 BE APPROVED IN WRITING BY DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL).
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
