 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) 1S FLOOR PLAN CODE ANALYSIS STATES THE APPLICABLE
 CODES ARE THE 2017 FAMILY OF FBC. UPDATE PLAN, THE
 2020FBC- FAMILY OF CODES WAS ADOPTED STATEWIDE DEC. 31/
 2020.
  
  
 2)SHEET A-4:
  
 2A) BEAUTY/ BARBER SHOP. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE SECTION 450.3.4.4 A BARBER/
 BEAUTY ROOM, THE AREA OF THE ROOM SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF
 120 SQUARE FEET WITH THE LEAST DIMENSION OF 10 FEET.
 THE NINE FEET SIX INCHES IS 9 FEET 2 INCHES INSIDE OF
 THE ROOM FINISH TO FINISH AND LESS THAN 120 SQUARE
 FEET, 120 SQUARE FEET IS MINIMUM ROOM SIZE.
  
 2B) PLEASE PROVIDE THE WIDTH OF DOOR #1,2, 3 & 4. 2020
 FBC-B 1010.1.1. SIZE OF DOORS. CLEAR WIDTH. DOOR
 OPENINGS SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES
 MINIMUM. CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING DOORS
 SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE DOOR AND THE
 STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN AT 90 DEGREES.
  
 3) GUIDELINES HEALTH CARE FACILITIES (3.10 RENAL
 DIALYSIS UNIT (ACUTE & CHRONIC):
 3A) 2.2.2.1 SPACE REQUIREMENTS
 (1) AREA. INDIVIDUAL PATIENT TREATMENT AREAS SHALL
 CONTAIN AT LEAST 80 SQ. FT. EXCLUSIVE OF GENERAL
 CIRCULATION SPACE WITHIN WARD.
 (2) CLEARANCE. THERE SHALL BE AT LEAST A 4-FOOT SPACE
 BETWEEN BEDS AND OR LOUNGE CHAIRS.
  
 3B) PRIVACY. 2.2.2.2. THE OPEN UNIT SHALL BE DESIGNED
 TO PROVIDE PRIVACY FOR EACH PATIENT.
  
 3C) 2.2.4.2. HAND WASHING STATION. THERE SHALL BE AT
 LEAST ONE HAND WASHING STATION SERVING NO MORE THAN
 FOUR STATIONS. THE HAND WASHING STATIONS SHALL BE
 UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED TO PROVIDE EQUAL ACCESS FROM EACH
 PATIENT STATION.
  
 3D) 3.2.2.1 CLEAN ROOM STORAGE. LOCATION OF THE CLEAN
 LINEN STORAGE AREA WITHIN THE CLEAN WORKROOM, A
 SEPARATE CLOSET. OR AN APPROVED DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
 SHALL BE PERMITTED.
  
 4) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
