 GARAGE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY SEC. 605 AND SEC. 1001.2.1,

 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
  
 1- THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE BUILDINGS IN THIS PROPERTY. A
 SEPARATE PERMIT APPLICATION AND SUB-PERMITS ARE
 REQUIRED FOR EACH BUILDING. PLEASE SUBMIT A SEPARATE
 PERMIT APPLICATION AND SUB-PERMITS FOR THE ACCESSORY
 STRUCTURE. SPECIFY VALUE FOR THE MAIN HOUSE AND VALUE
 FOR THE ACCESSORY STRUCTURE. SAME PLANS CAN BE USED.
 NOTE: SEPARATE PERMIT APPLICATIONS HELP TO COORDINATE
 INSPECTIONS FOR EACH BUILDING AND TO FACILITATE RECORDS
 RETENTION. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- NEED TO PROVIDE SURVEY SHOWING ACCESSORY BUILDING
 SETBACKS. NEED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE FIRE
 RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R302.1 AND
 TABLE R302.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL FOR NORTH AND WEST SIDE.
 NOTE: OPENING IN WALLS MAY NOT ALLOWED IF LESS THAN
 3'-0" SETBACKS.
  
 3- THIS IS A CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE TO LIVABLE
 SPACE. TYPICALLY, GARAGES ARE BUILT WITHOUT A FLOOR
 VAPOR BARRIER. ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONCRETE SLAB VAPOR BARRIER AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R506.2.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR NEW DOORS AND WINDOWS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS
 AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R302.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR NEW WOOD MULLIONS AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS. SPECIFY
 ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R302.1

 6- REVISE WALL DISTANCE "A" SPECIFIED ON NOTES FOR
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. MINIMUM WALL DISTANCE IS 4'-0"

 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 7- DEFERRED SUBMITTALS:
 (NOTE: PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. ALL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS NEED TO BE APPROVED IN WRITING BY DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL):
 A)ALL WINDOW TYPES SHOWN ON PLANS.
 B)ALL DOOR TYPES SHOWN ON PLANS.
 C)ROOF TILE AND FLAT ROOF SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 8-ARCHITECT IS SPECIFYING R-30 FOAM INSULATION. PROVIDE
 ICC EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE ICYNENE R-30 INSULATION
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R316 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: ARCHITECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVE THE REPORT IN
 WRITING PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL TO THIS OFFICE.
  
 9- SUBMIT COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR THE PERIMETER
 CONCRETE WALL UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. SEC. 105.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.

 CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC HOUSE. ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE
 NOT REQUIRED. BUT IF APPLICANT WANTS THEM TO BE PART OF
