 1) AFTER REVIEW, THE CITY'S TRAFFIC ENGINEER AND
 PLANNING DIVISION DO NOT SUPPORT THE PROPOSED LOCATION
 OF THE POLE IN THE LANDSCAPE BULB OUT WITHIN THE
 TAMARIND AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 A. THE PROPOSED LOCATION IS LOCATED DIRECTLY IN FRONT
 OF AN EXISTING RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE ON THE EAST SIDE
 OF TAMARIND AVENUE. STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE AREA AND
 THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SLIDE THE
 POLE NORTH OR SOUTH WITHIN THE TAMARIND AVENUE
 RIGHT-OF-WAY NORTH OF 21ST STREET AND BOTH MOVE FROM IN
 FRONT OF THE RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE AND AVOID BEING A
 TRAFFIC HAZARD.
 B. STAFF SUGGESTS MOVING THE POLE BETWEEN THE SIDEWALK
 AND THE CURB ON 21ST STREET, WEST OF TAMARIND AVENUE.
 STAFF HAS SENT CHRISTIAN WARR A ROUGH MARK UP.
  
 2) WHILE STAFF DOES NOT SUPPORT THE PROPOSED POLE
 LOCATION, COMMENTS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED INSTALLATION
 ARE INCLUDED BELOW AND WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN INTO
 ACCOUNT NO MATTER WHERE THE NEW POLE AND UNDERGROUND
 ELECTRIC ARE PLACED.
  
 A. THE PROPOSED BORE PIT FOR THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC
 AT THE POLE IS IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH AN EXISTING PALM
 TREE IN THE BULB OUT.
 B. THE POLE AND THE BORE PIT DIRECTLY IMPACT AN
 EXISTING GAS LINE. IN ORDER TO VERIFY THAT THE
 INSTALLATION WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE EXISTING
 FACILITIES, PROVIDE A PUBLIC UTILITY LETTER OF NO
 OBJECTION FROM FPU.
 C. THE HANDHOLE AND BORE PIT NOTES ON SHEET P-1 STATE
 THAT THE SIDEWALK WILL BE RESTORED; HOWEVER, LANDSCAPE
 AND SIDEWALK WILL NEED RESTORATION. PLEASE UPDATE THE
 NOTATIONS ACCORDINGLY.
 D. SHEET P-1 SHOWS THE EXCAVATION BOX FOR THE HANDHOLE
 EXTENDING PAST THE EDGE OF THE SIDEWALK, WHICH PUTS IT
 ON TO PRIVATE PROPERTY, WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED. ALL
 WORK MUST BE ONLY IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
 E. PROVIDE A CROSS SECTION OF THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC
 WHICH VERIFIES THAT THERE ARE NO CONFLICTS WITH
 EXISTING UTILITIES AND PALM TREE ROOT ZONES.
  
 3) THE POLE STYLE AND HEIGHT MEET CITY REQUIREMENTS.
 THE POLE COLOR AT THIS LOCATION SHALL BE RAL/RAYCAP
 7042 TRAFFIC GREY A.
