 AREA (SFHA). THE FLOOD ZONE DESIGNATION FOR THIS SITE
 IS AE WITH A BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) OF 6?0? NAVD.
 THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH (THROUGH ORDINANCE NO.
 4729-17) REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL 24 INCHES OF FREEBOARD.
 THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION (DFE) SHALL BE AT OR ABOVE
 8?0? NAVD.

 SECTION 4: THE CODE OF ORDINANCES IS HEREBY AMENDED AT
 CHAPTER 18, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE
 II, BUILDING CODE, TO ADD SECTION 18-33, TECHNICAL
 AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL, WHICH
 SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
  
 SEC. 18-33 - TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, RESIDENTIAL.
 R322.2.1 ELEVATION REQUIREMENTS.
 1. BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS NOT
 DESIGNATED AS COASTAL A ZONES SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST
 FLOORS ELEVATED TO OR ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION
 PLUS TWO FEET OR THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION, WHICHEVER
 IS HIGHER.
  
 2.SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING THREE (3) ELEVATION CERTIFICATES
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 A CONSTRUCTION DRAWING ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS
 REQUIRED AT TIME OF PERMIT APPLICATION.
  
 A BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS
 REQUIRED AT PLACEMENT OF 1ST FLOOR.
  
 A FINISHED CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS
 REQUIRED AND SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
 PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
 NOTE: YOU MAY SUBMIT THIS EC FOR REVIEW AFTER FINAL
 GRADE AND PLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT SERVICING THE
 BUILDING.
  
 3. PROVIDE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS AND ICC-ES REPORT FOR
 THE PROPOSED SMART VENTS 1540-511 (16X16)
 FBC 107.3.4 PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC RULE 9N-3 REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 4. CORRECT THE FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION TO THE DFE OF
 8.0FT NAVD ON PLAN PAGES: A1.0, A1.1, A2.0,A5.0, A5.1 &
 C-1, PER CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4729-17.
 SECTION 4: THE CODE OF ORDINANCES IS HEREBY AMENDED AT
 CHAPTER 18, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE
 II, BUILDING CODE, TO ADD SECTION 18-33, TECHNICAL
 AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL, WHICH
 SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
  
 5. ELEVATION OF EQUIPMENT SERVICING THE BUILDING SHALL
 BE AT THE DFE OF 8.0FT NAVD.
