 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) THE HEADING OF EXISTING BUILDING CODE LIST THE
 LEVEL OF ALTERATION AS LEVEL 1. PLEASE NOTE IN THE
 BEDROOM # 2 BATH THERE IS THE RECONFIGURATION OF SPACE
 WITH THE REMOVAL OF THE TUB FOR NEW SHOWER, CURB, TILE
 DRAIN COVER AND VALVE. RECONFIGURE OF SPACE BATH# 2
 REMOVE SWING DOOR AND RECONFIGURE TO POCKET DOOR.
 LAUNDRY REMOVAL OF SINK.
 LEVEL 2 ALTERANITIONS, 2020 EXIST. BUILD. CODE. SECTION
 603. LEVEL 2 ALTERATIONS INCLUDE THE RECONFIGURATION OF
 SPACE, THE ADDITION OR ELIMINATION OF ANY DOOR OR
 WINDOW, THE RECONFIGURATION OR EXTENSION OF ANY SYSTEM,
 OR THE INSTALLATION OF ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT.
  
 1B) THE FLOOR PLAN INDICATES IN SHOWERS THE REMOVAL OF
 WALL TILE BUT THERE IS NO REFERENCE TO THE TYPE OF
 BACKER BOARD TO BE INSTALLED. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 2020 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. MATERIALS USED AS
 A BASE FOR WALL TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALLS
 AND CEILING PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS SHALL BE OF
 MATERIALS LISTED IN TABLE 2509.2 AND INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER?S RECOMMENDATIONS. WATER
 RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD SHALL BE USED AS A BASE
 FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GA-216 OR ASTM C840 AND
 THE MANUFACTURE?S RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
 1C) 2020 FBC-B SHOWERS & TUBS 1210.3. SHOWER
 COMPARTMENTS AND BATHTUBS WITH INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS
 SHALL BE FINISHED WITH A NONABSORBENT SURFACE TO A
 HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 72 INCHES ABOVE THE DRAIN INLET.
  
 1D) THE PLAN SHOWS LIGHT FIXTURES IN THE LIVING ROOM
 CEILING BUT THERE IS NO MENTION OF THIS IS AN EXISTING
 DROPPED CEILING? IF NOT PLEASE PROVIDE A FRAMING
 DETAIL, TYPE OF FRAMING, GAUGE, SPACING AND ANCHORING
 TO THE CONCRETE DECK ABOVE, TYPE OF FINISH MATERIAL AND
 THICKNESS. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 1E) THE LIVING ROOM FLOOR PLAN ALSO INDICATES TO ADD A
 2 INCH DROP CEILING THIS ROOM ONLY, IS THIS A DROP 2
 INCHES LOWER THAT THE EXISTING CEILING OR A 2 INCH
 DROPPED SOFFIT? 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 REQUIRED, CLARIFICATION.
  
 1F) PROJECT CODE REFERENCES: THE 2020 FBC-RESIDENTIAL
 CODE, PLEASE NOTE THE RESIDENTIAL CODE IS FOR ONE & TWO
 FAMILY DWELLINGS (R-3 OCCUPANCIES). THE CODE REFERENCE
 SHOULD BE THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE FOR (R2
 OCCUPANCIES, CONDOMINIUMS & APARTMENTS).
  
 1G) THERE ARE THREE FLOORING NOTES:
 1G)(1) NEW FLOORING THROUGHOUT EXCEPT FOR THE MASTER
 BATHROOM.
 1G)(2)FLOORING REQUIREMENTS. SECTION 1207.3 STRUCTURE
 BORNE SOUND. SOUND PROOFING: SUPER SAM 125 TO
 BE INSTALLED UNDER NEW MARBLE.
 1G)(3) TYPICAL INTERIOR METAL WALL SECTION. CONCRETE
 FLOORS ADD VINYL/ TILE/CARPET PER OWNER
 WHICH ONES DO WE USE, CLARIFY PLEASE? NOTE WE WILL
 UPLOAD REPORTS FOR SUPER SAM 125 FOR MARBLE AND TILE IF
 THIS IS THE CHOICE OF FINISH FLOOR MATERIAL.
  
 2) CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR. 107.3.4.3. THE
 CONTRACTOR (QUALIFIER) THAT CREATED / DREW THE SET OF
 PLANS WILL NEED TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS THE AUTHOR OF
 THE PLANS. PLEASE PRINT YOUR NAME, SIGN YOUR NAME AND
 LICENSE NUMBER FOR THE TRADE YOU ARE LICENSED IN AND
 PLANS DRAWN.
 107.3.4.3 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR. PLEASE NOTE THE
 EXCEPTION TO ENGINEERED PLANS UNDER 471.003(H)
 ELECTRICAL/ PLUMBING/ MECHANICAL, 481.229(1)(C)
 (BUILDING) REQUIRES THE CONTRACTOR FOR THAT TRADE THAT
 WILL BE LICENSED IN THAT TRADE, WILL ALSO BE THE
 CONTRACTOR THAT DESIGNS THE SYSTEM UNDER THAT TRADE.

 PLANS APPEAR TO BE DRAWN BY ONE INDUVIAL, THEY WOULD
 HAVE TO BE LICENSED AS A BUILDING, ELECTRICAL AND
 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT ALL THESE TRADES UNDER
 ONE SHEET.
  
  
 3) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
