 REQUIRED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH MIN. CLEAR OPENINGS
 (WIDTH, HEIGHT AND TOTAL CLEAR OPENING).
  
 RESPONSE:
 REVISED DRAWING A1.10 IDENTIFIES THE WINDOW ON THE EAST
 SIDE OF THE SPIRAL STAIRS AS THE EGRESS WINDOW. THE
 SIZE OF THIS WINDOW IS 21048.
 EGRESS WINDOW DETAIL 4/A3.20 SHOWS A SINGLE HUNG WINDOW
 WITH 42'-8" WINDOW WIDTH DIMENSION AND 4'-8" WINDOW
 HEIGHT DIMENSION.
  
 IT LOOKS LIKE THIS WINDOW DOESN'T COMPLY WITH ALL THE
 EGRESS REQUIREMENTS BECAUSE:
 A) TYPICALLY, SINGLE HUNG IMPACT WINDOWS REQUIRE 63"
 +/- WINDOW HEIGHT IN ORDER TO GET THE REQUIRED 24"
 CLEAR HEIGHT OPENING. THE SPECIFIED WINDOW HEIGHT OF
 56" DOESN'T SEEM TO COMPLY WITH THE CLEAR HEIGHT
 REQUIREMENT OF 24". REVISE EGRESS WINDOW SIZE
 SPECIFICATIONS TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE EGRESS
 REQUIREMENTS OR PROVIDE WINDOW MANUFACTURER'S CUT
 SHEETS SHOWING THAT THE SPECIFIED WINDOW SIZE WILL
 COMPLY.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY SIZE OF WINDOW. SEE COMMENT
 BELOW.
  
 B)SIZE OF EGRESS WINDOW IS NOT CLEAR. FLOOR PLAN CALLS
 FOR 21048 WINDOW. WHAT IS THE CORRECT WIDTH OF THE
 WINDOW?. EGRESS WINDOW DETAIL 4/A3.20 SHOWS A SINGLE

 ANCHORING, ETC. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
