 NOTE:
 THIS IS A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION. SEC. 603 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE.
  
 1-PLANS DON'T SPECIFY CURRENT CODE AND THE DESIGN
 CRITERIA. SEC. 107.3.5.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE ALL THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SPECIFY THE
 ULTIMATE AND NOMINAL WIND LOAD, BUILDING EXPOSURE,
 BUILDING MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. ALSO, SPECIFY THE COMPONENTS
 AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS.
  
 2- PLANS DON'T PROVIDE ANY STRUCTURAL
 DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS. ARCHITECT NEEDS TO PROVIDE
 COMPLETE INFORMATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. SEC. 107.3.5.3
 CITY AMENDMENTS AND SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL:
  
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE OPENING FRAMING
 DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW WINDOWS AND DOORS.
 SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS SIZES AND CONNECTORS AT
 EACH END.
  
 3- NEW STAIRWAYS:
 A)PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW STAIRWAYS SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R11.7 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B)A LANDING COMPLYING WITH SEC. R311.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL
 IS REQUIRED IN THE STAIRWAY BY THE NEW DOUBLE FRENCH
 DOORS.
  
 C) HANDRAIL IS REQUIRED ON THE NEW STAIRWAY BY THE NEW
 DOUBLE FRENCH DOORS.
 SEC. R311.7.8 FBC-RESIDENTIAL
  
 4-PLANS DON'T PROVIDE ANY DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 THE GUARDRAIL AND HANDRAIL.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE R301.5, SEC. R312.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- WINDOW ADJACENT TO THE SINGLE FRENCH DOOR NEEDS TO
 HAVE SAFETY GLAZING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R308.4.2
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SHOW COMPLIANCE.
  
 6- PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION SPECIFYING WALL
 SHEATHING THICKNESS AND FASTENING, AND ALL EXTERIOR AND
 INTERIOR FINISHES. SEC. 107..3.5.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 ALSO, PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE REQUIRED TWO WATER
 RESISTIVE BARRIERS WHEN STUCCO IS APPLIED TO WOOD AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R703.7.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PLANS DON'T PROVIDE ANY DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF NEW CANVAS AWNINGS
 AS SHOWN ON PLANS. PROVIDE COMPLETE
 DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A)OUTSWING ENTRY DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) INSWING FRENCH DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 9- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW/APPROVE ABOVE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- MULLION: NEITHER PLANS OR PRODUCT APPROVAL
 SUBMITTED SPECIFY SIZE OF MULLION TO BE USED BETWEEN
 THE FRENCH DOOR AND THE WINDOW AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
 SPECIFY MULLION SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 11- POOL AND POOL PAVERS ARE TO BE DONE UNDER SEPARATE
 PERMITS. SEC. 105.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
