 1. "SEC. 94-107. (B)(2) - EXISTING BUILDINGS MAY NOT BE
 DESTROYED OR REMOVED UNLESS THEY ARE TO BE REPLACED
 ACCORDING TO THESE URBAN REGULATIONS AND ONLY AFTER A
 BUILDING PERMIT WHICH AFFECTS THE VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION
 FOR THE NEW BUILDING HAS BEEN OBTAINED BY THE PROPERTY
 OWNER OR DEVELOPER. PERMITS WHICH AFFECT VERTICAL
 CONSTRUCTION INCLUDE THE FOUNDATION, VIBRO-FLOTATION,
 SOIL MIXING, PRESSURE GROUTING AND FULL BUILDING
 PERMITS. CLEARING AND GRUBBING AND UNDERGROUND
 UTILITIES AND SITE WORK PERMITS ARE NOT CONSIDERED
 PERMITS WHICH AFFECT VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION..."
  
 - IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE DMP CODE (SEC. 94-107.
 (B)(2)) FOR THE DEMOLITION OF AN EXISTING STRUCTURE
 WITHIN THE DMP, A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE REPLACING/NEW
 STRUCTURE MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR. UNLESS THE STRUCTURE
 IS DEEMED UNSAFE, IN WHICH CASE AN OFFICIAL FROM THE
 BUILDINGS DEPARTMENT WOULD HAVE TO MAKE THAT
 DESIGNATION.
 "SEC. 94-107. (B)(4) - UNSAFE STRUCTURES AS DEFINED BY
 THE STANDARD UNSAFE BUILDING ABATEMENT CODE ADOPTED BY
 THE CITY MAY RECEIVE AN EMERGENCY DEMOLITION ORDER FROM
 THE CITY BUILDING OFFICIAL DUE TO UNSAFE STRUCTURE
 CONDITIONS."
