 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
 1) THE SUBMITTED WINDOW SCHEDULE/ FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT
 PROVIDE THE UNIT IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE OVERALL FLOOR
 PLAN. WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION WE CAN NOT DETERMINE IF
 THE CONDO UNIT AND WINDOWS ARE IN WALL ZONE 4 OR END
 ZONE 5. THE WIND LOAD CHART UNDER NOTES STATES WHAT IS
 CONSIDERED AN END ZONE 10% OF THE LEAST HORIZONTAL
 DISTANCE OF THE BUILDING OR 40% OF THE MRH, BUT NOT
 LESS THAN 4% OF THE LEAST HORIZONTAL DISTANCE OR 3 FT.
 THE CONTRACTOR HAS NOT IDENTIFIED WHAT THE LEAST
 HORIZONTAL DISTANCE IS FOR THE BUILDING NOR THE
 LOCATION OF THE UNIT IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE BUILDING
 AND THE INTERCOASTAL WATERWAY. EXAMPLE ONLY. IF THE
 BUILDING HEIGHT IS APPROXIMATELY 180 FT. (MRH.) X 0.40=
 72 FEET. THIS WOULD PUT ALL OPENINGS IN WIND ZONE 5 OR
 10% OF THE LEAST HORIZONTAL DISTANCE
 OF THE BUILDING, ALSO UNKNOWN.
  
 2) THE SUBMITTED WINDOW SCHEDULE/ FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT
 STATE WHO THE AUTHOR OF THE PLAN IS? CERTIFICATION BY
 CONTRACTOR. 107.3.4.3. THE CONTRACTOR (QUALIFIER) THAT
 CREATED / DREW THE SET OF PLANS WILL NEED TO IDENTIFY
 THEMSELVES AS THE AUTHOR OF THE PLANS. PLEASE PRINT
 YOUR NAME, SIGN YOUR NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER FOR THE
 TRADE YOU ARE LICENSED IN AND PLANS DRAWN.
  
 3) THE WIND LOAD CHART SUBMITTED IS A PAPER COPY AND
 SIGNATURE THAT WAS UPLOADED. FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE
 CODE 61G15-23.005 (3)(C) A DOCUMENT IN THE FILE FOLDER,
 SCANNED, FACSIMILE, DIGITALLY CREATED OR COPIED IMAGE
 OF THE LICENSEE?S SIGNATURE SHALL NOT BE USED ON
 DIGITALLY SIGNED AND SEALED ENGINEERING PLANS,
 SPECIFICATIONS, REPORTS OR OTHER DOCUMENTS.
  
 4) THE WIND LOAD CHART SUBMITTED IS A PAPER COPY DATED
 AUGUST 5TH/ 2020 AND USING ASCE 7-10. THIS CHART IS A
 OLD CHART UNDER THE 2017 FBC-BUILDING CODE. DEC. 31ST/
 2020 THE 6TH EDITION OF THE FBC OR THE 2020
 FBC-BUILDING CODE WENT INTO EFFECT. CHARTER 35 THE
 REFERENCED STANDARDS USES THE ASCE 7-16. PLEASE UPDATE.
  
 5) THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR NOA 20-0429.09 PAGE 9 THE
 GLASS TYPE CIRCLED IS G4. PAGE 13 OF THE NOA BENEATH
 THE DESIGN PRESSURE/ ANCHOR CHART THERE IS AN NOTE A
 +/- 90 PSF FOR GLASS TYPES 4. 4A, 6, 6A 7A 8 & 8A.
 PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE THE GLASS TYPES DO NOT
 MATCH IN NOMENCLATURE. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
