 ARCHITECTS WITH RESPECT TO EVALUATION OF DESIGN
 PROFESSIONALS DOCUMENTS, IF A LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINDS IT
 NECESSARY, IN ORDER TO ENFORCE COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AND ISSUE A PERMIT, TO REJECT
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE CODE THREE OR MORE
 TIMES FOR FAILURE TO CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION
 SPECIFICALLY AND CONTINUOUSLY NOTED IN EACH REJECTION,
 INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, EGRESS, FIRE PROTECTION,
 STRUCTURAL STABILITY, ENERGY, ACCESSIBILITY, LIGHTING,
 VENTILATION, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS
 SYSTEMS, OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED BY RULE OF
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING COMMISSION ADOPTED PURSUANT TO
 CHAPTER 120, THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SHALL IMPOSE, EACH
 TIME AFTER THE THIRD SUCH REVIEW THE PLANS ARE REJECTED
 FOR THAT CODE VIOLATION, A FEE OF FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT
 OF THE PROPORTION OF THE PERMIT FEE ATTRIBUTED TO PLANS
 REVIEW
  
  
 NOTE: SEC. 702.6 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW WORK
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MATERIALS AND METHODS
 REQUIREMENTS IN THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- DESIGN WIND PRESSURE CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 BASED ON THE AERIAL VIEWS ON THE PROPERTY APPRAISER
 WEBSITE, IT LOOKS LIKE SOME OPENINGS ( WINDOW #6 AND
 SLIDING GLASS DOORS) ARE IN THE END ZONE NOT IN THE
 INTERIOR ZONE AND THE BUILDING DIMENSIONS ARE WRONG.
 THIS IS CRITICAL BECAUSE PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED
 MAY NOT MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES. REVISE CALCULATIONS
 SUBMITTED SHOWING THE OPENINGS THAT ARE LOCATED IN THE
 END ZONE OR PROVIDE SITE SPECIFIC DESIGN WIND PRESSURES
 SHOWING THE ACTUAL BUILDING DIMENSIONS AND WALL ZONES.
 SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. REVISED CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED ON
 10/21/21 ARE WRONG. STRUCTURE INFORMATION IS WRONG.
 ENGINEER OF RECORD NEEDS TO SEE THE BUILDING AND REVISE
 THIS INFORMATION TO MATCH ACTUAL BUILDING CONDITIONS.
 AS MENTIONED BEFORE, IT LOOKS LIKE SOME OPENINGS (
 WINDOW #6 AND SLIDING GLASS DOORS) ARE IN THE END ZONE
 NOT IN THE INTERIOR ZONE. REVISE CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED
 SHOWING THE OPENINGS THAT ARE LOCATED IN THE END ZONE
 OR PROVIDE SITE SPECIFIC DESIGN WIND PRESSURES SHOWING
 THE ACTUAL BUILDING DIMENSIONS AND WALL ZONES. SEC.
 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
  
 2- PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED WILL BE REVIEWED ONCE
 THE DESIGN WIND PRESSURES ARE REVISED. PLEASE CHECK
 PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED MEET THE REVISED DESIGN
 PRESSURES. OTHERWISE NEW PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE
 REQUIRED.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- WINDOW MULLIONS PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED:
 CLEARLY SPECIFY MULLION SIZE TO BE USED TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.

 NOTE: SEE SEC. 702.4 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE. WINDOW
 OPENING CONTROL DEVICES IN WINDOW REPLACEMENT ARE
 REQUIRED WHEN THE FOLLOWING APPLY:
 IN GROUP R-2 OR R-3 BUILDINGS CONTAINING DWELLING UNITS
 AND ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS AND TOWNHOUSES
 REGULATED BY THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL,
 WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICES COMPLYING WITH ASTM
 F2090 SHALL BE INSTALLED WHERE AN EXISTING WINDOW IS
 REPLACED AND WHERE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO THE
 REPLACEMENT WINDOW:
 1.THE WINDOW IS OPERABLE;
 2. THE WINDOW REPLACEMENT INCLUDES REPLACEMENT OF THE
 SASH AND THE FRAME;
 3.ONE OF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES:
 3.1.IN GROUP R-2 OR R-3 BUILDINGS CONTAINING DWELLING
 UNITS, THE TOP OF THE SILL OF THE WINDOW OPENING IS AT
 A HEIGHT LESS THAN 36 INCHES (915 MM) ABOVE THE
 FINISHED FLOOR; OR
 3.2. IN ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS AND TOWNHOUSES
 REGULATED BY THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL,
 THE TOP SILL OF THE WINDOW OPENING IS AT A HEIGHT LESS
 THAN 24 INCHES (610 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED FLOOR;
 4.THE WINDOW WILL PERMIT OPENINGS THAT WILL ALLOW
 PASSAGE OF A 4-INCH-DIAMETER (102 MM) SPHERE WHEN THE
 WINDOW IS IN ITS LARGEST OPENED POSITION; AND
 5.THE VERTICAL DISTANCE FROM THE TOP OF THE SILL OF THE
 WINDOW OPENING TO THE FINISHED GRADE OR OTHER SURFACE
 BELOW, ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING, IS GREATER THAN
 72 INCHES (1829 MM).
 THE WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICE, AFTER OPERATION TO
 RELEASE THE CONTROL DEVICE ALLOWING THE WINDOW TO FULLY
 OPEN, SHALL NOT REDUCE THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING
 AREA OF THE WINDOW UNIT TO LESS THAN THE AREA REQUIRED
 BY THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
