 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
 1) PLEASE NOTE ADDRESSING CONCERN ABOUT THE ADDRESS
 GIVEN FOR THE PROJECT, PERMIT APPLICATION AND THE TITLE
 BLOCK OF THE PLANS OF 4802 S. DIXIE HWY. BETWEEN THE
 DEMO PLAN AND THE A.1 FLOOR PLAN IT APPEARS WORK IS
 BEING COMPLETED THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE BUILDING WITH THE
 TENANT TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PLANS TO BE CONSIDERED
 A SHELL SPACE.
 2020 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2020 WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1,
 ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED.
 2020 FBC-B 501.2 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION. NEW AND
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH APPROVED
 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION.
  
 CITY MUNI CODE SEC.78-6 (1-7)(2) LOCATION, BUILDINGS
 CONTAINING MORE THAN ONE ADDRESS. ALL ADDRESSES SHALL
 BE POSTED ON THAT PORTION OF THE STRUCTURE FRONTING OR
 FACING UPON THE STREET OR PRINCIPAL VEHICULAR ACCESS TO
 THE PREMISES, SO AS TO BE READILY VISIBLE TO
 APPROACHING VEHICLES.
  
 2) THERE SEEMS TO BE A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN GOOGLE MAPS
 FRONT ELEVATIONS AND THE DEMO SHEET FRONT OF THE
 BUILDING. IN THE DEMO FLOOR PLAN AT THE FRONT OF THE
 BUILDING THERE IS A SET OF DOUBLE DOORS AND TO THE
 RIGHT OF THE DOUBLE DOORS THE DEMO FLOOR PLAN INDICATES
 ONLY 2 DOORS. WHEREAS GOOGLE MAPS SHOWS 3 EXIT DOORS.
 THE DEMO PLAN ALSO INDICATES ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE
 BUILDING A GLASS FRONT (WINDOWS & DOORS) WITH EXCEPTION
 OF STRUCTURAL COLUMNS. GOOGLE MAPS STREET VIEW ( APRIL
 2019) SHOWS THE DOUBLE FRONT DOORS, TO THE RIGHT OF THE
 DOUBLE DOORS STOREFRONT WINDOWS THEN A ANOTHER GLASS
 STOREFRONT DOOR. TO THE RIGHT OF THE SINGLE STOREFRONT
 DOOR THERE IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE TEXTURE 1-11 VERTICAL
 PLYWOOD THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING WITH 2 MORE DOORS
 IN THE BLUE TEXTURE 1-11 PLYWOOD SIDING. 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED WHY THE DIFFERENCE
 IN THE PLANS AND GOOGLE STREET VIEW.
  
 3) SHEET T.1 TITLE SHEET:
  
 3A) THE SOSO MARKET/ CAF? IS LISTED AS A BUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY. THE INTERIOR OCCUPANT LOAD IS CALCULATED AT
 55 OCCUPANTS AND SQUARE FOOTAGE OF 1,431 SQ. FT. THIS
 TENANT SPACE IS AN A2 OCCUPANCY PER SECTION 303.3 OF
 THE 2020FBC-BUILDING CODE. THE TENANT SPACE DOES NOT
 MEET THE CRITERIA FOR SMALL ASSEMBLY AREAS, SECTION
 303.1.2.
  
 3B) WITH THE CAF?/ RESTAURANT MEETING THE CRITERIA FOR
 AN A-2 OCCUPANCY AND EITHER A BUSINESS, OR MERCANTILE
 OCCUPANCY AS THE OTHER MIXED-USE OCCUPANCY TABLE 508.4
 FOR NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING A 2 HOUR FIRE RATED FIRE
 BARRIER , NOTED ON SHEET LIFE SAFETY PLAN, NO CUT
 SECTION OF WALL NOR UL LISTING, PROVIDE THE LISTING
 DETAIL FOR ALL MATERIALS THAT MAKE UP THE ASSEMBLY.
  
 3C) PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL/ CUT SECTION OF THE FIRE
 BARRIER WALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 707.5 OF THE
 2020FBC-BUILDING. FIRE BARRIERS SHALL EXTEND FROM THE
 TOP OF THE FINISH FLOOR TO BELOW TO THE UNDERSIDE OF
 THE ROOF SHEATHING AND CONTINUOUS THROUGH OUT ALL
 CONCEALED SPACES. JOINTS AND INTERSECTIONS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH SECTIONS 707.8 AND 707.9.
  
 3D) THE CLASSIFICATION OF WORK IS STATED AS RETROFIT.
 PLEASE REFER TO THE 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION
 1001.2.2.1. PARTIAL CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY. WHERE THE
 OCCUPANCY CHANGE IS MADE TO A PORTION OF AN EXISTING
 BUILDING SECTION 1012 SHALL APPLY. SEE 1012.1 THROUGH
 1012.8 ACCESSIBILITY.
 3E) THE PROJECT DATA IS MISSING THE PLUMBING FIXTURE
 COUNT LOAD, PLEASE NOTE FOR THE PLUMBING FIXTURES THE
 EXTERIOR SEASONAL SEATING IS TO BE FIGURED BRING THE
 TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD FOR THE PLUMBING FIXTURES TO 88
 OCCUPANTS. 2020 FBC-BUILDING TABLE 2902.1.
  
 4) SHEET LS-1 SHOW THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE FOR THE CAF?
 TO BE 72 FT. 10 ? INCHES. THE TITLE SHEET DECLARED THIS
 BUILDING IS NON-SPRINKLERED. SECTION 1007.1.1 REQUIRES
 THE (2) REQUIRED EXITS TO BE PLACED NOT LESS THAN
 ONE-HALF THE OF THE LENGTH OF THE MAXIMUM OVERALL
 DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR AREA SERVED. THE
 MEASUREMENT 72.833/ 2= 36.41 FEET APART MINIMUM. THE
 PLAN STATES 31FEET 10 ? INCHES APART. WHEN CALIBRATING
 THE PLAN FROM THE FURTHEST POINT ON BOTH PAIRS OF EXIT
 DOORS THE MEASUREMENT IS 35.75 FEET APART.
  
 4A) 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 207.1 MEANS OF
 EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1003.2.13 OF THE
 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2000 EDITION AND 2001
 SUPPLEMENT) OR SECTION 1007 OF THE INTERNATIONAL
 BUILDING CODE (2003 EDITION).
 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 4B) SHEET LS- 1 AND A.1 BOTH SHOW A NEW ACCESSIBLE
 RAMP. A.1 AND A.4 DETAIL 7 BOTH SHOW THE UPPER AND
 LOWER LANDING TO BE 4 FEET LONG. THE 2020 FBC-B SECTION
 1012.6.3 STATES THE RAMP LANDING LENGTH IS REQUIRED TO
 BE 60 INCHES IN LENGTH. PLEASE NOTE THE RAMP IS PART OF
 THE REQUIRED ACCESSIBLE ROUTE (2ND MEANS OF EGRESS).
  
 4C) PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING THE NEW
 ACCESSIBLE RAMP THE L. S. PLAN IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO
 SHOW THE BOTTOM LANDING WHERE AS THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS A
 SHORT LANDING, IT IS UNKNOWN IF THE RAMP LEADS TO THE
 PUBLIC WAY AND CLEAR OF ANY PARKING SPACES. 2020 FBC-B
 SECTION 1028.5 ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC WAY.
  
 5) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
