 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.
  
 2B) FBC-B 2020 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND. WALLS,
 PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES SEPARATING

 AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E

 2C) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2020 603.1. EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 2D) THE FLOOR PLAN IS SILENT IF TILE IS GOING TO BE
 INSTALLED ON THE BALCONY. IF TILE IS TO BE INSTALLED ON
 THE BALCONY, THEN A ENGINEER WILL NEED TO INSPECT THE
 BALCONY SLAB FOR CRACKS, SPALLING OF STEEL AND HOW TO
 CORRECT THE SPALLED CONCRETE. THE ENGINEER IS TO
 PROVIDE A SIGNED SEALED REPORT AS TO THE CONDITION OF
 THE BALCONY SLAB AND IF REPAIRS ARE NECESSARY HOW THEY
 WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED. NOTE THIS IS A HIGHRISE BUILDING/
 THRESHOLD INSPECTOR (S. I.) REQUIRED.
  
 3) SHEET A-1 THE MASTER BATHROOM THE TUB IS REMOVED,
 AND THE SHOWER IS EXPANDED. NO MENTION OF THE CODE
 ISSUES LISTED BELOW:
  
 3A) NO MENTION OF HOW THE TUB FLOOR BOX OUT FOR DRAIN
 IS TO COMPLY WITH: THROUGH-PENETRATIONS FIRESTOP
 SYSTEMS (HORIZONTAL ASSEMBLIES). IF A NEW FLOOR
 PENETRATION IS MADE FOR THE FUTURE SHOWER DRAIN, THEN
 YOU NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020 FBC-B SECTION
 714.5.1.2. THROUGH-PENETRATIONS FIRESTOP SYSTEMS
 (HORIZONTAL ASSEMBLIES). THROUGH PENETRATIONS SHALL BE
 PROTECTED BY A THROUGH PENETRATION FIRESTOP SYSTEM
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E814 OR UL 1479. THE
 SYSTEM SHALL HAVE AN F RATING / T RATING OF NOT LESS
 THAN 1 HOUR BUT NOT LESS THAN THE REQUIRED RATING OF
 THE FLOOR PENETRATED.
  
 3B) THE ENLARGED SHOWER THE NEW FLOOR DRAIN AND SIZE OF
 THROUGH PENETRATION, POST TENSION SLAB/ NEW HOLES. THE
 PLAN IS SILENT AS IF THE LOCATION OF THE EXISTING TUB
 DRAIN IS GOING TO BE REUSED IN THE SAME LOCATION. IF
 NOT, THEN THE FLOOR SLAB WILL NEED TO BE X-RAYED TO
 FIND THE POST TENSION CHORD LOCATIONS. 107.2.1.2.
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3C) THE TYPE OF TILE BACKING FOR THE SHOWER. 2020 FBC-B
 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. MATERIALS USED AS A BASE FOR WALL
 TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALLS AND CEILING
 PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS SHALL BE OF MATERIALS LISTED IN
 TABLE 2509.2 AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 MANUFACTURER?S RECOMMENDATIONS. WATER RESISTANT GYPSUM
 BACKING BOARD SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER
 CLOSET COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH GA-216 OR ASTM C840 AND THE MANUFACTURE?S
 RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
 3D) IN THE SHOWER THE HEIGHT OF TILE? 2020 FBC-B
 SHOWERS & TUBS 1210.3. SHOWER COMPARTMENTS AND BATHTUBS
 WITH INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS SHALL BE FINISHED WITH A
 NONABSORBENT SURFACE TO A HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 72
 INCHES ABOVE THE DRAIN INLET.
  
 4) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
