 PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH WPB FBC 107.3.4.3 SHALL BEAR
 THE PRINTED NAME, THE SIGNATURE AND THE CERTIFICATION
 NUMBER OF THE DESIGNER WHO SHALL BE A CONTRACTOR
 LICENSED IN THE PLUMBING TRADE. ADDITIONALLY, THE
 SHOWER PAN DETAIL SHALL BEAR THE PRINTED NAME, THE
 SIGNATURE AND THE CERTIFICATION NUMBER OF THE DESIGNER
 WHO SHALL BE A CONTRACTOR LICENSED IN THE PLUMBING
 TRADE.
  
 2.PER WPB FBC 104.1, A PLUMBING SUB-PERMIT APPLICATION
 SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR THIS PROJECT BY A LICENSED
 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR.
  
 3.SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING WATER
 HEATER WITH LIKE FOR LIKE. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE
 THE FOLLOWING:
 A) LOCATION OF WATER HEATER
 B) DESCRIPTION (MANUFACTURER, MODEL #, CAPACITY (GPM
 FOR TANKLESS), ELECTRICAL OR GAS CHARACTERISTICS) OF
 THE EXISTING WATER HEATER.
 C) NEW WATER HEATER SCHEDULE; MANUFACTURER, MODEL #,
 CAPACITY (GPM FOR TANKLESS), ELECTRICAL OR GAS
 CHARACTERISTICS.
 D) WATER HEATER DETAIL- PROVIDE DETAIL OF WATER HEATER
 SHOWING HEATER W/STORAGE CAPACITY, PIPING INCLUDING CW,
 HW, VALVES (INCLUDING VACUUM RELIEF VALVE IF APPLICABLE
 FBC PL 504.2) , THERMAL EXPANSION CONTROL DEVICE
 (INCLUDING SIZE), T&P DISCHARGE (INCLUDING TERMINATION)
 AND WATER HEATER PAN AND DRAIN (INCLUDING TERMINATION)
 PER WPB FPC 107.2.1; COMPLY WITH FBC PL 607.3, 503.1,
 504.1, 504.4, 504.4.1, 504.5, 504.6, 504.7, 504.7.1 AND
 504.7.2. IT IS NOTED THAT PER FBC PL 504.7.2 A PAN IS
 NOT REQUIRED FOR A REPLACEMENT WATER HEATER IF A PAN
 WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED.
  
 4.PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE A RISER DIAGRAM AND PLAN
 VIEW SHOWING HOW THE TUB DRAIN IS TO BE CONVERTED TO A
 VENTED LAVATORY DRAIN. PLEASE NOTE THAT AIR ADMITTANCE
 VALVES INSTALLED MORE THAN FOUR BRANCH INTERVALS BELOW
 THE TOP OF THE STACK ARE SUBJECT TO STRINGENT
 RESTRICTIONS AS NOTED IN FBC PL 918.3.1.
  
 5.PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE PIPE HANGER DETAIL WITH
 A NOTE STATING, "HORIZONTAL PIPE SHALL BE SUPPORTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC PL TABLE 308.5.", FOR ANY NEW
 PIPING.
  
 6.PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE FIRE RATED FLOOR
 DETAIL(S) FOR NEW FLOOR PENETRATIONS AND FOR THE
 SAFEING OF THE ABANDONED TUB BOX. COMPLY WITH FBC
 CHAPTER 7. PER FBC PL 315.1, ANNULAR SPACES CREATED BY
 PIPES PENETRATING FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED ASSEMBLIES OR
 MEMBRANES OF SUCH ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE SEALED OR CLOSED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 714 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, BUILDING.
  
 7.PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE DIMENSIONS IN BATHROOMS
 (INCLUDE NEW SHOWER DIMENSIONS). PROVIDE CENTERLINE
 DIMENSION FROM WATER CLOSET TO ADJACENT SHOWER
 ENCLOSURE. PER FBC PL 406.3.1, A WATER CLOSET, URINAL,
 LAVATORY OR BIDET SHALL NOT BE SET CLOSER THAN 15
 INCHES (381 MM) FROM ITS CENTER TO ANY SIDE WALL,
 PARTITION, VANITY OR OTHER OBSTRUCTION.405.3.1
  
 8.THE PLANS ARE UNCLEAR AS TO WHAT IS TO BE DONE WITH
 THE BATHROOM WALLS AT THE SHOWERS. PER FBC PL 421.4.1,
 BATHTUB FLOORS, SHOWER FLOORS, WALL AREAS ABOVE
 BUILT-IN TUBS THAT HAVE INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS AND
 WALLS IN SHOWER COMPARTMENTS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF
 SMOOTH, CORROSION-RESISTANT AND NONABSORBENT WATERPROOF
 MATERIALS. WALL MATERIALS SHALL EXTEND TO A HEIGHT OF
 NOT LESS THAN 6 FEET (1829 MM) ABOVE THE ROOM FLOOR
 LEVEL, AND NOT LESS THAN 70 INCHES (1778 MM) ABOVE THE
 DRAIN OF THE TUB OR SHOWER. SUCH WALLS SHALL FORM A
 WATER-TIGHT JOINT WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH EITHER THE
 TUB OR SHOWER FLOOR. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, CLARIFY.
  
 9.THE PLANS ARE UNCLEAR AS TO WHAT IS TO BE DONE WITH
 THE MASTER BATH SHOWER. IS THE FLOOR TILE IN THE SHOWER
 TO BE REPLACED? IF SO, A TEST AND INSPECTION OF THE
 SHOWER PAN INSTALLATION IS REQUIRED AND THE PAN SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF FBC PL 421.5.2. PER WPB
 FBC 107.2.1, CLARIFY ON THE PLANS.
  
 10.THE ELECTRICAL PLAN SEEMS TO BE REPRESENTATIVE OF
 EXISTING CONDITIONS. IF SO, THE WATER CLOSET APPEARS TO
 BE RELOCATED FROM ITS' ORIGINAL LOCATION. PER WPB FBC
 107.2.1, CLARIFY. PROVIDE DRAWINGS SHOWING MODIFICATION
 IF APPLICABLE..
  
 11.WATER HAMMER ARRESTORS ARE REQUIRED AT WATER
 SUPPLIES TO DISHWASHER AND ICE LINE PER FPC PL 604.9.
  
 12.PER FBC PL 409.4, THE WASTE CONNECTION OF A
 RESIDENTIAL DISHWASHER SHALL CONNECT DIRECTLY TO A WYE
 BRANCH FITTING ON THE TAILPIECE OF THE KITCHEN SINK,
 DIRECTLY TO THE DISHWASHER CONNECTION OF A FOOD WASTE
 DISPOSER, OR THROUGH AN AIR BREAK TO A STANDPIPE. THE
 WASTE LINE OF A RESIDENTIAL DISHWASHER SHALL RISE AND
 BE SECURELY FASTENED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SINK RIM
 OR COUNTER TOP.
  
 13.A ROUGH IN PLUMBING INSPECTION IS REQUIRED FOR
 SHOWER VALVE REPLACEMENT. NEW SHOWER CONTROL VALVES TO
 COMPLY WITH FBC PL 412.3, WHICH SHALL BE PRESSURE
 BALANCED PB, THERMOSTATIC MIXING (TM) OR COMBINATION
 PB/TM VALVE TYPES WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE LIMITING STOP
 THAT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASSE 1016/ASME
 A112.1016/CSA B125.16 OR ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 AND
 SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE POINT OF USE.
