 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
 1) THE HEIGHT ABOVE GRADE AT THE NEW STEPS IS NOT
 SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS. IF ANY PORTION OF THE STEPS ARE
 MORE THAN 30" ABOVE GRADE, GUARDS COMPLYING WITH
 FBC-R312 WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 2) SUBMIT ENERGY CODE COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTS FOR THE
 PROPOSED ADDITION. FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION CHAPTER 4
  
 3) SPECIFY THE UNDER FLOOR INSULATION. FBC ENERGY

 4) SHOW HOW THE ADDITION WILL COMPLY WITH FBC-R 408.1
 VENTILATION. THE UNDER-FLOOR SPACE BETWEEN THE BOTTOM
 OF THE FLOOR JOISTS AND THE EARTH UNDER ANY BUILDING
 (EXCEPT SPACE OCCUPIED BY A BASEMENT) SHALL HAVE
 VENTILATION OPENINGS THROUGH FOUNDATION WALLS OR
 EXTERIOR WALLS. THE MINIMUM NET AREA OF VENTILATION
 OPENINGS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 1 SQUARE FOOT (0.0929
 M2) FOR EACH 150 SQUARE FEET (14 M2) OF UNDER-FLOOR
 SPACE AREA, UNLESS THE GROUND SURFACE IS COVERED BY A
 CLASS 1 VAPOR RETARDER MATERIAL. WHERE A CLASS 1 VAPOR
 RETARDER MATERIAL IS USED, THE MINIMUM NET AREA OF
 VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 1 SQUARE
 FOOT (0.0929 M2) FOR EACH 1,500 SQUARE FEET (140 M2) OF
 UNDER-FLOOR SPACE AREA. ONE SUCH VENTILATING OPENING
 SHALL BE WITHIN 3 FEET (914 MM) OF EACH CORNER OF THE
 BUILDING.
  
 5) SHOW HOW THE ADDITION WILL COMPLY WITH R408.4
 ACCESS. ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED TO ALL UNDER-FLOOR
 SPACES. ACCESS OPENINGS THROUGH THE FLOOR SHALL BE A
 MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES BY 24 INCHES (457 MM BY 610 MM).
 OPENINGS THROUGH A PERIMETER WALL SHALL BE NOT LESS
 THAN 16 INCHES BY 24 INCHES (407 MM BY 610 MM). WHERE
 ANY PORTION OF THE THROUGH-WALL ACCESS IS BELOW GRADE,
 AN AREAWAY NOT LESS THAN 16 INCHES BY 24 INCHES (407 MM
 BY 610 MM) SHALL BE PROVIDED. THE BOTTOM OF THE AREAWAY
 SHALL BE BELOW THE THRESHOLD OF THE ACCESS OPENING.
 THROUGH WALL ACCESS OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE LOCATED UNDER
 A DOOR TO THE RESIDENCE.
  
 6) SUBMIT COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE ROOFING
 MATERIALS AND THE JAMES HARDIE PANEL WALL SIDING THAT
 HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD. (THE DOCUMENT SUBMITTED FOR THE SIDING IS NOT A
 PRODUCT APPROVAL.) FBC AMEND. 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO
 SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY FAC 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE
 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN
 WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES
 FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT ROOFING MATERIALS, WALL
 PANELS, WINDOW (GLASS TYPES), STRUCTURAL MULLIONS AND
 EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES. THESE ITEMS CAN BE DEFERRED IF
 REQUESTED, HOWEVER, THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND
 APPROVED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THEY CAN BE
 INSTALLED. ONLY ONE SET IS REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED FOR
 ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
 CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
