 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS A COUNTER WITH SEATING. THERE
 SEAMS TO BE A DISCREPANCY IN THE PLANS. THE FLOOR PLAN
 STATES 34-INCH-HIGH SEATING. SHEET A.06 DETAIL # 1
 INDICATES THE TOP OF THE COUNTER IS 34 INCHES HIGH.
 DISCREPANCY IN THE PLANS. THE 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTION 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES
 AND WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34
 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 1B) AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING BETWEEN THE 2 ENTRY
 DOORS THE FLOOR PLAN STATES CUSTOM FURNITURE BY OTHERS.
 SHEET A.06 SHOWS THE ELEVATION VIEW IN DETAIL # 2 WHICH
 APPEARS TO BE AN AREA CONSIDERED A HIGH-TOP WHERE THE
 MEAL OR DRINK CAN BE CONSUMED. PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT THE
 INTENT IS IN THIS AREA. WITH 6 SEATS THE ONE SEAT MEETS
 THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE @ 0.05
 PERCENT. THE COUNTER IN QUESTION IS 10 FEET LONG. IF
 THE PATRONS ARE STANDING @ EVERY 18 INCHES THAT WOULD
 MAKE AN ADDITIONAL 7 PATRONS PLUS THE SEATED 6 EQUALS
 13. 226.1 WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE

 MEASURED FROM FINISH FLOOR TO THE CENTER LINE OF THE

 POSITION OF GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 A HORIZONTAL POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES

 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 4A) SHEET A.07 DETAIL 1 SHOWS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE
 STEEL ROOF DECK AN ELEVATION OF 14 FEET 4 INCHES AND
 WHAT APPEARS TO BE A PARAPET ABOVE THE ROOF. THIS
 INFORMATION IS NOT GIVEN. 2020 FBC-M 306.5 EQUIPMENT
 AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES. WHERE
 EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS OR APPLIANCES ARE LOCATED ON
 AN ELEVATED STRUCTURE OR THE ROOF OF A BUILDING SUCH
 THAT PERSONNEL WILL HAVE TO CLIMB HIGHER THAN 16 FEET
 (4877 MM) ABOVE GRADE TO ACCESS SUCH EQUIPMENT OR
 APPLIANCES, AN INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR MEANS OF ACCESS
 SHALL BE PROVIDED. SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE
 CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762
 MM) IN HEIGHT OR WALKING ON ROOFS HAVING A SLOPE
 GREATER THAN 4 UNITS VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL
 (33-PERCENT SLOPE). SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE THE
 USE OF PORTABLE LADDERS. WHERE ACCESS INVOLVES CLIMBING
 OVER PARAPET WALLS, THE HEIGHT SHALL BE MEASURED TO THE
 TOP OF THE PARAPET WALL.
  
 4B) SHEET S.02 THE OTHER ISSUE WITH NOT KNOWING THE
 PARAPET HEIGHT IS COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 2020 FBC-B
 1015.7 ROOF ACCESS GUARDS. GUARDS SHALL BE PROVIDED
 WHERE THE ROOF HATCH OPENING IS LOCATED WITHIN 10 FEET
 OF A ROOF EDGE OR OPEN SIDE OF A WALKING SURFACE AND
 SUCH EDGE OR OPEN SIDE IS LOCATED MORE THAN 30 INCHES
 ABOVE THE FLOOR, ROOF OR GRADE BELOW. THE GUARD SHALL
 BE CONSTRUCTED SO AS TO PREVENT THE PASSAGE OF A SPHERE
 21 INCHES (533 MM) IN DIAMETER.
