 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 NO TRANSMITTAL LETTER IN THE 2ND REVIEW, WHERE THE
 ANSWERS CAN BE FOUND IN REGARDS TO THE CODE QUESTIONS
 ASKED. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 1A) 2ND REQUEST. THE LETTER SUBMITTED BY BIG BEAR
 DEVELOPERS IS A GREAT CONCERN. WITHIN THE LETTER THERE
 IS A STATEMENT, WE HAVE BEEN PERFORMING INSPECTIONS ON
 THE MEP PHASES OF THIS PROJECT TO TRY AND CONFIRM THAT
 WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED TO OUR SATISFACTION. THIS WAS
 BEING DONE WHILE BIG BEAR DEVELOPERS YOURSELVES DID
 WORK WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A PERMIT. THE INDIVIDUALS
 THAT DID THE INSPECTIONS FOR THE MEP TRADES DO THEY
 HAVE A STATE LICENSE A BN INSPECTORS LICENSE FOR EACH
 OF THESE TRADES. WE WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS VIOLATION
 THROUGH THE BUILDING CODE ADMINISTRATORS AND INSPECTORS
 BOARD. FLORIDA STATUTE 468.607.
  
 1B) 2ND REQUEST. THE LETTER SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT FOR BIG BEAR DEVELOPERS IS SIGNED LUKE
 FISHER. LUKE FISHER IS NOT THE QUALIFIER FOR BIG BEAR
 DEVELOPERS, WHAT POSITION OF AUTHORITY DO YOU HAVE AND
 WHY HASN?T THE QUALIFIER SHEA HOMES SIGNED THE LETTER
 OF SUCH GREAT IMPORTANCE? 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) 2ND REQUEST. THE LETTER FROM THE SIGERSON?S
 INDICATES THAT ANNE SEGERSON DID DRAWINGS AND SPECIFIED
 WHAT WAS NEEDED., AND THAT SHE IS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THE STATE DBPR
 (DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION
 UNDER THE LICENSE CATEGORY ARCHITECTS AND INTERIOR
 DESIGNERS, FLORIDA STATUTE 481.213 LICENSING
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 3) 2ND REQUEST. THE SUBMITTED DRAWINGS WERE NOT
 DESIGNED BY ANY DESIGN PROFESSIONAL, ARCHITECT,
 INTERIOR DESIGNER NOR ENGINEER. CERTIFICATION BY
 CONTRACTOR. THE CONTRACTOR (QUALIFIER) THAT CREATED /
 DREW THE SET OF PLANS WILL NEED TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES
 AS THE AUTHOR OF THE PLANS. PLEASE PRINT YOUR NAME,
 SIGN YOUR NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER FOR THE TRADE YOU ARE
 LICENSED IN AND PLANS DRAWN.
  
 107.3.4.3 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR. PLEASE NOTE THE
 EXCEPTION TO ENGINEERED PLANS UNDER 471.003(H)
 ELECTRICAL/ PLUMBING/ MECHANICAL, 481.229(1)(C)
 (BUILDING) REQUIRES THE CONTRACTOR FOR THAT TRADE THAT
 WILL BE LICENSED IN THAT TRADE, WILL ALSO BE THE
 CONTRACTOR THAT DESIGNS THE SYSTEM UNDER THAT TRADE.
 THE CONTRACTOR (QUALIFIER) THAT CREATED / DREW THE SET
 OF PLANS WILL NEED TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS THE AUTHOR
 OF THE PLANS. PLEASE PRINT YOUR NAME, SIGN YOUR NAME
 AND LICENSE NUMBER FOR THE TRADE YOU ARE LICENSED IN

 FOR EACH TRADE THE CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
 DESIGN UNDER THE TRADE LICENSED IN MUST PRINT THEIR
 NAME, SIGN THEIR NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER, NOTE THESE
 PLANS APPEAR TO BE DRAWN BY ONE INDUVIAL, THEY WOULD
 HAVE TO BE LICENSED AS A BUILDING, ELECTRICAL AND
 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT ALL THESE TRADES UNDER
 ONE SHEET.
  
 4) 2ND REQUEST. THERE WAS NEVER NO FLOORING PERMIT
 APPLIED FOR OR ISSUED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF FLOORING.
 THE HARDSHIP LETTER INDICATES THAT NEW FLOOR TILE WAS
 ORDERED, PLEASE REVIEW THE REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW
 FLOORING REQUIREMENTS. FLOOR INSULATION (FBC-B 2020)
 FOR TILE, STONE, MARBLE, VINYL AND WOOD FLOORING ALL
 NEED TO HAVE HAD THE SOUND UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR
 ASSEMBLIES TO THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS AND MEET THE
 QUALIFICATIONS LISTED UNDER EACH OF THE STANDARDS FOR A
 6 INCH CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/ NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THREE TEST REPORTS FOR TYPE I AND OR
 TYPE II BUILDINGS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 4A) 2ND REQUEST. FBC-B 2020 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE
 SOUND. FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS
 OR BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.
  
 4B) 2ND REQUEST. FBC-B 2020 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 4C) 2ND REQUEST. FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2020 603.1.
 EXCEPTION 2. INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED
 FLOOR AND SOLID DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE
 SHALL BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT
 MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 5-6) COMPLIED.
  
 7) 2ND REQUEST. 2020 FBC-B SHOWERS & TUBS 1210.3.
 SHOWER COMPARTMENTS AND BATHTUBS WITH INSTALLED SHOWER
 HEADS SHALL BE FINISHED WITH A NONABSORBENT SURFACE TO
 A HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 72 INCHES ABOVE THE DRAIN INLET.
