 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW
 GENERATOR. SPECIFY THE MODEL NUMBER AND KW OF THE NEW
 GENERATOR. FBC AMENDMENTS 107.2.1
  
 2) PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE EXISTING GENERATOR SLAB AND
 SPECIFY THE NUMBER, TYPE AND SIZE OF THE FASTENERS THAT
 WILL BE USED TO ANCHOR THE GENERATOR TO THE SLAB TO
 RESIST WIND LOADS. FBC AMENDMENTS 107.2.1
  
 3) SHOW THAT THE GENERATOR IS LOCATED 5 FEET FROM THE
 WALLS OF ANY BUILDING. FBC- FUEL GAS 616.1 POWERED
 EQUIPMENT. PERMANENTLY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT POWERED BY
 INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES AND TURBINES SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S
 INSTRUCTIONS AND NFPA 37. STATIONARY ENGINE GENERATOR
 ASSEMBLIES SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF UL 2200.
  
 4) SHOW THAT THE GENERATOR EXHAUST IS AT LEAST 10 FEET
 FROM ANY OPENINGS INTO A BUILDING. FBC-R303.5.1 INTAKE
 OPENINGS. MECHANICAL AND GRAVITY OUTDOOR AIR INTAKE
 OPENINGS SHALL BE LOCATED NOT LESS THAN 10 FEET (3048
 MM) FROM ANY HAZARDOUS OR NOXIOUS CONTAMINANT, SUCH AS
 VENTS, CHIMNEYS, PLUMBING VENTS, STREETS, ALLEYS,
 PARKING LOTS AND LOADING DOCKS.
  
 5) THE VALUE FOR THIS PROJECT OF $2350.00 APPEARS TO BE
 LOW. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES THE VALUATION IS REQUIRED
 TO INCLUDE THE COSTS OF THE LABOR, MATERIALS, OVERHEAD
 AND PROFIT AS WOULD BE CHARGED BY A CONTRACTOR. PROVIDE
 A COMPLETE SCOPE OF WORK WITH A COST BREAKDOWN. FBC
 AMENDMENTS 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
 CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
