 PLUMBING COMMENTS: DENIED
  
 1.P1 APPEARS TO INDICATE THAT THE EXISTING BATHTUB IS
 TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW BATHTUB. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1,
 CLARIFY WHETHER OR NOT THIS IS CORRECT. IF SO THEN
 CLARIFY THAT IT IS THE SAME CONFIGURATION AS THE
 ORIGINAL BATHTUB AND WILL NOT REQUIRE A NEW SLAB
 PENETRATION FOR THE DRAIN. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC.
  
 2.PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, CLARIFY WHETHER OR NOT A SHOWER
 HEAD WILL BE PROVIDED.
  
 3. ARE YOU REPLACING THE EXISTING CONTROL VALVE? IF
 PROVIDING A NEW CONTROL VALVE, PER WPB FBC 107.2.1,
 SPECIFY THE NEW VALVE AND PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECIFICATION/INSTALLATION MANUAL. VALVE SHALL COMPLY
 WITH FBC PL 412.3. A ROUGH IN INSPECTION WILL BE
 REQUIRED FOR THE IN-WALL PLUMBING.
  
 4. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1 PROVIDE DETAIL OR SCHEDULE
 SHOWING WALL AREAS ABOVE BUILT-IN TUBS THAT HAVE
 INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS AND WALLS IN SHOWER COMPARTMENTS
 SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF SMOOTH, CORROSION-RESISTANT AND
 NONABSORBENT WATERPROOF MATERIALS. WALL MATERIALS SHALL
 EXTEND TO A HEIGHT OF NOT LESS THAN 6 FEET (1829 MM)
 ABOVE THE ROOM FLOOR LEVEL, AND NOT LESS THAN 70 INCHES
 (1778 MM) ABOVE THE DRAIN OF THE TUB OR SHOWER. SUCH
 WALLS SHALL FORM A WATER-TIGHT JOINT WITH EACH OTHER
 AND WITH EITHER THE TUB OR SHOWER FLOOR AS REQUIRED BY
 FBC PL 421.4.1.
  
 5.VALUE OF JOB SEEMS LOW WHEN COMPARED TO ENTIRE SCOPE
 OF WORK. PROVIDE AN ACCURATE VALUATION OF ALL WORK AND
 COST. 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS. IF, IN THE
 OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION
 OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE
 UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED, UNLESS THE APPLICANT CAN SHOW DETAILED,
 QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR BONA FIDE SIGNED CONTRACTS
 (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO MEET THE APPROVAL OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION
 OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT
 VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING,
 MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK,
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL (1)CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
