 1ST FLOOR FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN
  
 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS.
  
 1) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA MEASURES
 SIGNAGE ALLOWANCE AS FOLLOWS - ONE SQUARE FOOT OF
 SIGNAGE FOR EACH ONE LINEAR FOOT OF STORE FRONTAGE.
 SINCE THIS SIGN IS ON THE 1ST FLOOR, THE SIZE OF THE
 SIGN IS BASED ON THE 1ST FLOOR FRONTAGE. PROVIDE THE
 LINEAR FEET OF 1ST FLOOR STORE FRONTAGE (APPEARS TO BE
 APPROXIMATELY 30 FEET) SO THAT STAFF CAN VERIFY HOW
 MUCH SIGN SQUARE FOOTAGE IS PERMITTED. BASED ON A 30
 FOOT FRONTAGE, THE FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN AT 22.39 SQUARE
 FEET IS PERMITTED.
  
 2) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA PERMIT A
 FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN TO HAVE A MAXIMUM WIDTH OF 40
 PERCENT OF THE STOREFRONT FRONTAGE. ONCE THE 1ST FLOOR
 STORE FRONTAGE DIMENSION IS PROVIDED, THEN STAFF CAN
 VERIFY IF THE PROPOSED 1ST FLOOR FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN
 MEETS THIS STANDARD. HOWEVER, BASED ON THE SITE PLAN,
 IT APPEARS THAT THE 1ST FLOOR FRONTAGE IS APPROXIMATELY
 30 FEET, WHICH WOULD ONLY PERMIT A SIGN DIMENSION OF 12
 FEET BY RIGHT. THE PROPOSED 14 FOOT 4.5 INCH LONG SIGN
 EXCEEDS THE 40 PERCENT ALLOWANCE. THE SIGN WIDTH
 DIMENSION MAY BE INCREASED BY 25 PERCENT WITH THE
 APPROVAL OF A WAIVER II, WHICH WOULD PERMIT A SIGN UP
 TO 15 FEET IN LENGTH. A WAIVER II REQUIRES THE
 SUBMITTAL OF A MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT TO
 THE CITY'S PLANNING DIVISION AND ITS SUBSEQUENT
 APPROVAL. NOTE: EXACT DIMENSIONS WILL BE BASED ON THE
 ACTUAL 1ST FLOOR FRONTAGE THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN
 PROVIDED.
  
 3) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT REVERSE CHANNEL LETTERS ARE FABRICATED OUT OF
 ALUMINUM WITH A MINIMUM METAL THICKNESS OF .060 INCHES.
 THE SIGN DETAIL SHOWS THE ALUMINUM RETURNS AS ONLY
 HAVING A THICKNESS OF .050 INCHES.
