 FLOOD ZONE WITH THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) OF 6
 FEET BASED ON NAVD 88. DURING THE PERMITTING OF THIS
 STRUCTURE THREE DIFFERENT FLOOD ELEVATION CERTIFICATES
 WILL BE REQUIRED:
 A) CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS.
 B) BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
 C) FINISHED CONSTRUCTION.
  
 NOTE: NEED TO PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE NOW FOR REVIEW.
  
 SEC. 18-33. - TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, RESIDENTIAL.
 SEC. 107.3.5.1.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- THE PROPOSED ADDITION IS CONSIDERED A SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT. THEREFORE, THE ADDITION AND THE EXISTING
 HOUSE NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE CITY TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS
 FOR STRUCTURES LOCATED IN A FLOOD ZONE AE.
 STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS NOT DESIGNATED AS
 COASTAL A ZONES SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST FLOORS ELEVATED
 TO OR ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION PLUS TWO FEET OR
 THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION
 THIS HOUSE IS LOCATED IN AE FLOOD ZONE WITH THE BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION OF 6 FEET BASED ON NAVD 88. THEREFORE,
 THE FINAL FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST
 AT 8 FEET. CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AND ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW THE PROPOSED FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION.
