 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS.
  
 1) THE ADDRESS FOR THE PERMIT IS LISTED AS 530 HIBISCUS
 STREET, WHICH IS THE ADDRESS FOR THE HIBISCUS GARAGE;
 HOWEVER, THE PLANS SHOW THE SIGN TO BE INSTALLED AS THE
 GARDENIA GARAGE. THE PLANS NEED TO SHOW THE CORRECT
 SIGNAGE FOR THE ADDRESS.
  
 2) THE PLANS INCLUDE A NOTE THAT THE SIGN WILL BE
 PLACED ON THE EAST ELEVATION. NEITHER THE HIBISCUS
 GARAGE OR THE GARDENIA GARAGE HAVE AN ENTRANCE ON THE
 EAST SIDE AS THIS IS THE FEC RAILROAD. THE CORRECT
 CONDITIONS MUST BE SHOWN. PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING
 THE SIGN'S LOCATION.
  
 3) THE ALUMINUM BAR SHOWN AS INCLUDED WITH THE SIGN
 MOUNTED TO IT IS CLASSIFIED AS A CANOPY UNDER THE
 ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA.
  
 A. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA CONTAIN
 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CANOPIES, INCLUDING THAT THE
 CANOPY PROJECT A MINIMUM OF EIGHT (8) FEET FROM THE
 WALL. THE PROPOSED CANOPY ONLY PROJECTS TWO (2) FEET
 FROM THE WALL. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA
 INCLUDE A WAIVER I PROVISION THAT PERMITS THE CANOPY
 PROJECTION TO BE REDUCED TO FOUR (4) FEET. A WAIVER I
 IS APPROVED IN WRITING BY CITYPLACE RETAIL, LLC.
  
 B. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA CONTAIN
 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CANOPIES, INCLUDING THAT THE
 CANOPY HAS A MINIMUM VERTICAL CLEARANCE FROM THE
 SIDEWALK ELEVATION OF TEN (10) FEET. PROVIDE THE
 DIMENSION FROM THE SIDEWALK (NOT THE ROADWAY) THAT
 VERIFIES THE MINIMUM REQUIRED HEIGHT.
  
 4) THE PLANS DID NOT INCLUDE THE SPECIFICS OF THE
 CANOPY BRACKET AND HARDWARE ATTACHMENT TO THE WALL. THE
 ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT
 RIVETS, SCREWS AND OTHER FASTENERS THAT EXTEND TO
 VISIBLE SURFACES SHALL BE FLUSH, FILLED AND FINISHED SO
 AS TO BE UNNOTICEABLE. PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THE
 BOLTS SECURING THE CANOPY TO THE WALL MEET THIS
 CRITERIA.
  
 5) NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED ON HOW THE SIGN LETTERS
 ARE ATTACHED TO THE CANOPY. PROVIDE HOW THIS OCCURS.
  
 6) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT ALL INSTALLATION COMPONENTS OR HANGING DEVICES
 CONSIST OF ANODIZED ALUMINUM. PROVIDE ON THE PLANS
 VERIFICATION THAT THE MOUNTING PLATE IS ANODIZED
 ALUMINUM.
  
 7) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT REVERSE CHANNEL LETTERS ARE FABRICATED OUT OF
 ALUMINUM WITH A MINIMUM METAL THICKNESS OF .060 INCHES.
 PROVIDE VERIFICATION OF THIS REQUIREMENT ON THE PLANS
  
 8) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA PERMIT UP
 TO THREE COLORS ON A SIGN. PROVIDE ON THE PLANS
 VERIFICATION OF THE COLORS USED ON THE SIGN.
  
 9) PLEASE CLARIFY HOW THE SIGN WILL BE ILLUMINATED.
  
 10) THE PROPOSED SIGN IS A WAYFINDING SIGN.
  
 A. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA DO NOT SHOW
 THE PROPOSED SIGN AS AN APPROVED SIGN TYPE. THE
 ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA INCLUDE A WAIVER
 II PROVISION THAT PERMITS, "ALTERNATIVE PLACEMENT,
 DESIGN OR QUANTITY OF WAYFINDING SIGNS (DIRECTIONAL OR
 INFORMATIONAL) FROM THAT WHICH IS DEPICTED ON THE
 WAYFINDING SIGN LOCATION MAP UNDER ROSEMARY SQUARE
 WAYFINDING SIGN CRITERIA (EXHIBIT D)". THE WAIVER II IS
 A MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT THAT MUST BE
 SUBMITTED TO AND APPROVED BY THE PLANNING DIVISION
 PRIOR TO THE ZONING SIGN OFF FOR A SIGN AT THIS
 LOCATION. THE WAIVER II WILL NEED TO JUSTIFY THE SIZE
 AND DESIGN OF THE PROPOSED SIGN, INCLUDING THE COLORS
 OF THE VARIOUS SIGN ELEMENTS (IF MORE THAN THREE
 COLORS).
  
 B. ALTERNATIVELY, THIS SIGN CAN BE REVIEWED AS A CANOPY
 SIGN. THE RESPONSES TO COMMENTS 4-9 WILL BE USED TO
 VERIFY IF IT COMPLIES WITH THE CANOPY SIGN REQUIREMENTS
 IF THIS IS THE SIGN TYPE CHOSEN.
