 1) PLEASE SHOW THE REQUIRED SMOKE ALARMS PER FBC
 R314.2.2 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS.
 WHERE ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHERE ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS.
 2) WORK IS A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT FBC EXISTING
 BUILDING 201 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT. FOR THE PURPOSE
 OF DETERMINING COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLOOD PROVISIONS OF
 THIS CODE, ANY REPAIR, ALTERATION, ADDITION, OR
 IMPROVEMENT OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE, THE COST OF
 WHICH EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE
 OF THE STRUCTURE, BEFORE THE IMPROVEMENT OR REPAIR IS
 STARTED.
 3) FLOOD HAZARD AREA (AE 6). THE EXISTING FINISHED
 FLOOR ELEVATION WILL NEED TO BE (8.00 NAVD) PLEASE
 PROVIDE A SIGNED AND SEALED SURVEY BASED ON THE LATEST
 FIRM SHOWING THE FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION (LOWEST FLOOR
 ELEVATION) TO COMPLY WITH CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4729-17
 SEC. 18-33 AND FBC R322.1 GENERAL.
 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES CONSTRUCTED IN WHOLE OR IN
 PART IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, INCLUDING A OR V ZONES AND
 COASTAL A ZONES, AS ESTABLISHED IN TABLE R301.2(1), AND
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT AND RESTORATION OF SUBSTANTIAL
 DAMAGE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD
 AREAS, SHALL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION.
