 1) SHEET 1: REFER TO SECTION 1002.1: THE HORIZONTAL
 DISTANCE FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE NEW SHOWER DRAIN
 OUTLET TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE INLET OF THE EXISTING
 TRAPS SHALL NOT EXCEED 30". PLEASE PLACE A NOTE ON THE
 PLAN INDICATING COMPLIANCE.
  
 2) SHEET 1: SHOW THE REQUIRED 1/4 IN. PER FT. SHOWER
 LINER SLOPE TO THE DRAIN- SECTION 417.5.2 FBC P.
  
 3) FAIR HOUSING ACT GUIDELINES: BECAUSE THE BUILDING
 WAS CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACCESSIBILITY
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT DESIGN MANUAL FOR
 USABLE BATHROOMS IN DWELLING UNITS UNDER PERMIT
 01101288, THE PROPOSED ALTERATION BATHROOM ALTERATION
 SHALL ALSO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR HOUSING ACT.
 REFER TO PAGES 7.39- 7.57 AND INDICATE ON THE PLAN IF
 THE ORIGINAL BATHROOM WAS DESIGNED AS EITHER A
 SPECIFICATION TYPE A OR B. IN TYPE A BATHROOMS BOTH THE
 BATHTUB AND THE SHOWER MUST BE PROVIDED WITH THE 30 X
 48 IN. CLEAR FLOOR SPACE POSITIONED FOR PARALLEL
 APPROACH. IN TYPE B ONLY ONE BATHING FIXTURE MUST BE
 PROVIDED WITH THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. IN THIS CASE IT
 APPEARS THE BATHTUB WOULD BE IN COMPLIANCE. PLEASE
 REVISE THE PLAN TO INDICATE THE SPECIFICATION TYPE, AND
 SHOW THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE DIAGRAMS AND DIMENSIONS.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE FOR THE SHOWER
 MUST BE FLUSH WITH THE CONTROL WALL- PAGE 7.56. FOR
 TYPE B BATHROOMS, REINFORCEMENTS FOR FUTURE GRAB BARS
 MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAIR HOUSING
 ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES AND FIGURE 5 FBC ACC. PROVIDE
 DIMENSIONED BACK AND SIZED ELEVATION VIEWS OF THE
 SHOWER WALLS TO SHOW THE LOCATIONS, LENGTHS AND WIDTHS
 OF THE BACKINGS.
  
 PLEASE NOTE AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEETING THE GUIDELINES
 FOR THE BATH ALTERATIONS, THE OWNER AND DESIGNER OF
 RECORD FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT MAY PROVIDE A SIGNED
 AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT WHICH WOULD INDICATE
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE PROPOSED DESIGN DOES NOT MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY
 GUIDELINES, BUT WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE OWNER TO AGREE TO
 REVERT THE UNIT BACK TO COMPLIANCE AT TIME OF SALE IF
 SO REQUESTED BY THE BUYER. IF THIS OPTION IS CHOSEN,
 PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] AND I WILL SEND A
 COPY OF THE FAIR HOUSING AFFIDAVIT.
  
 4) SUBMIT A PLUMBING SUB-PERMIT APPLICATION- SECTION
 105.1 WPB.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
