 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED.
  
 1) GAS RISER DRAWING: RECORDS RESEARCH FOR 7945 VIA
 VILLAGIO SHOW GAS PERMIT #04040274 ISSUED 4/10/2004 FOR
 INTERIOR/EXTERIOR PIPE INSTALLATION. RECORD DRAWINGS
 INDICATE A TOTAL LOAD OF 564,000 BTU'S: POOL HEATER-
 400,000. GRILL- 50,000. COOKTOP- 42,000. DRYER- 22,000.
 WATER HEATER- 50,000. REVISE THE RISER TO SHOW THE
 CORRECT TOTAL AND INDIVIDUAL LOADS OF THE SYSTEM-
 SECTIONS G2412.3, G2412.4, & G2413.2 FBC RES. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT THE TOTAL DEVELOPED LENGTH OF SYSTEM WAS
 INDICATED TO BE 88 FT.
  
 A) PROVIDE THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE INTERIOR PIPING RUN
 AND THE TOTAL DEVELOPED LENGTH OF THE ENTIRE SYSTEM-
 SECTIONS G2413.4.1 AND G2413.4.2 FBC RES.
  
 B) SUBMIT UPDATED SPECS FOR THE 22KW GENERATOR. I HAVE
 CHECKED THE UPDATED SPECS FOR THE GENERAC 22KW MODEL
 AND THEY INDICATE A FULL LOAD OF 306,000 BTUH FOR
 NATURAL GAS. PLEASE CORRECT THE LOAD SHOWN ON THE RISER
 TO INDICATE 870,000 BTUH.
  
 C) PIPE SIZING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 G2413.3 FBC RES. TABLE 402.4(3) FBC FG WITH A 3.0 IN.
 PRESSURE DROP LISTED ON THE PLANS IS NOT A SIZING TABLE
 FOUND IN THE FBC RES. TYPICALLY PRESSURE DROP IN
 RESIDENTIAL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS IS 0.5 IN. W.C. PLEASE
 REVIEW SECTION G2413.5 (402.5 ) ALLOWABLE PRESSURE DROP
 WHICH INDICATES: THE DESIGN PRESSURE LOSS IN ANY PIPING
 SYSTEM UNDER MAXIMUM PROBABLE FLOW CONDITIONS, FROM THE
 POINT OF DELIVERY TO THE INLET CONNECTION OF THE
 APPLIANCE, SHALL BE SUCH THAT THE SUPPLY PRESSURE AT
 THE APPLIANCE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO THE MINIMUM
 PRESSURE REQUIRED BY THE APPLIANCE.
  
 D) PLEASE INDICATE THE SIZING METHOD USED PER SECTIONS
 G2413.4.1 LONGEST LENGTH, OR G2413.4.2 BRANCH LENGTH.
 INDICATE THE TABLES USED TO SIZE THE SCHEDULE 40
 METALLIC- SEE TABLES G2413.4(1)- G2413.4(8). PLEASE
 NOTE IF USING THE LONGEST LENGTH METHOD TO SIZE THE
 SCHED. 40 METALLIC, THE MAIN PIPE FROM THE METER TO THE
 1ST TEE, ACCORDING TO TABLE G2413.4(1) [402.4(2)] SHALL
 BE MINIMUM 2 IN. FOR A 870,000 BTUH LOAD AT 88 FT.
 DEVELOPED LENGTH. THE BRANCH LEG FROM THE TEE TO THE
 GENERATOR REGULATOR SHALL BE 1-1/4 IN., AND THE BRANCH
 LEG TO THE EXISTING APPLIANCES SHALL BE 1-1/2 IN.
  
 2) SURVEY: THE GENERATOR SHALL BE INSTALLED A MINIMUM
 OF 5 FT. AWAY FROM COMBUSTIBLE WALLS- SEC. 4.1.4 NFPA
 37, AND A MINIMUM OF 10 FT. FROM MECHANICAL OR GRAVITY
 AIR INTAKES (WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS) INTO THE
 BUILDING- SEC. R303.5.1 FBC RES. CORRECT THE NOTES ON
 THE DRAWING.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
