 ADMINISTRATION
  
 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1ST REVIEW

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1A) DISCREPANCY IN THE FLOOR PLAN SUBMITTED, SCOPE OF
 WORK AND THE UPLOADED FILES. THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS IN
 THE MASTER BATH A TUB AND A ? BATH WITH A LAVATORY AND
 WATER CLOSET. THE SCOPE OF WORK INDICATES THE REPLACE
 TUB FOR NEW, BUT THE FILE UPLOADED SHOWS A NEW SHOWER
 PAN BASE. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.107.2.1.2.
  
 1B) IF THERE IS A CHANGE FROM A TUB TO A SHOWER WILL
 THE SAME WASTE BE USED, OR WILL THERE BE A NEW HOLE
 CORED THROUGH THE FLOOR? IF THERE IS TO BE A NEW HOLE
 BORED THROUGH THE FLOOR THE FLOOR WILL NEED TO BE
 X-RAYED TO SEE THE LOCATION OF THE POST-STRESSED
 CABLES.
  
 1C) FOR A NEW PENETRATION THROUGH THE FLOOR SLAB PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE THROUGH PENETRATION FIRE STOP SYSTEM IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 714.4.1.1.
  
 1D) PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE WHAT TYPE OF PLEASE PROVIDE THE
 THROUGH PENETRATION FIRE STOP SYSTEM WILL BE USED IN
 THE OLD HOLE LEFT BY THE OLD DRAIN LINE. 2017 FBC-B
 SECTION 714.4.1.1.
  
 1E) IN EITHER CASE TUB OR SHOWER PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT
 TYPE OFF BACKER BOARD WILL BE INSTALLED ON EITHER THE
 SHOWER OR TUB. 2017 FBC-B SHOWERS & TUBS 1210.3. SHOWER
 COMPARTMENTS AND BATHTUBS WITH INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS
 SHALL BE FINISHED WITH A NONABSORBENT SURFACE TO A
 HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 72 INCHES ABOVE THE DRAIN INLET.
  
 2) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
