 CORRECTIONS NEEDED - FBC WPB AMENDMENTS 107
 1) PLEASE SHOW THE REQUIRED SMOKE DETECTORS FOR THE
 MAIN HOUSE FBC R314.2.2 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND
 ADDITIONS.
 WHERE ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHERE ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS.
 2) PLEASE SHOW THE REQUIRED ATTIC VENTILATION FOR THE
 ADDITION ON THE MAIN HOUSE (TRUSSED AREA AND FLAT ROOF
 AREA) - R806.1VENTILATION REQUIRED.
 ENCLOSED ATTICS AND ENCLOSED RAFTER SPACES FORMED WHERE
 CEILINGS ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF
 RAFTERS SHALL HAVE CROSS VENTILATION FOR EACH SEPARATE
 SPACE BY VENTILATING OPENINGS PROTECTED AGAINST THE
 ENTRANCE OF RAIN OR SNOW.
 3) R30 INSULATION WILL NOT PROVIDE THE REQUIRED AIR
 CLEARANCE FOR VENTILATION IN THE 2X8 RAFTERS PER FBC
 R806.3 VENT AND INSULATION CLEARANCE.
 WHERE EAVE OR CORNICE VENTS ARE INSTALLED, INSULATION
 SHALL NOT BLOCK THE FREE FLOW OF AIR. NOT LESS THAN A
 1-INCH (25 MM) SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED BETWEEN THE
 INSULATION AND THE ROOF SHEATHING AND AT THE LOCATION
 OF THE VENT.
 4) PLEASE SHOW THE ATTACHMENT TYPE AND ON CENTER
 SPACING FOR THE 3/4" ROOF SHEATHING/DECKING ON THE MAIN
 HOUSE ADDITION.
 5) THE GENERATOR LOCATION NEEDS TO BE 10' AWAY FROM
 OPENINGS TO COMPLY WITH FBC R303.5.1 INTAKE OPENINGS.
 MECHANICAL AND GRAVITY OUTDOOR AIR INTAKE OPENINGS
 SHALL BE LOCATED NOT LESS THAN 10 FEET (3048 MM) FROM
 ANY HAZARDOUS OR NOXIOUS CONTAMINANT,
 6) PLEASE CIRCLE OR INDICATE HOW THE ROOF TILE IS TO BE
 ATTACHED ON THE ROOF TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL PROVIDED. IF
 ATTACHED WITH ADHESIVE PLEASE PROVIDE THE MIAMI DADE OR
 FLORIDA STATE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE ADHESIVE.
 7) PLEASE PROVIDE AN UPDATED SURVEY ALONG WITH THE SITE
 PLAN PROVIDED SHOWING ALL THE REQUIRED ITEMS PER FBC
 WPB AMENDMENTS 107.2.5 SITE PLAN. THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION FOR PERMIT
 SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SITE PLAN SHOWING TO SCALE
 THE SIZE AND LOCATION OF NEW CONSTRUCTION AND EXISTING
 STRUCTURES ON THE SITE, DISTANCES FROM LOT LINES, THE
 ESTABLISHED
 STREET GRADES AND THE PROPOSED FINISHED GRADES,
 DEPICTING THE PROPOSED LOT DRAINAGE AND, AS APPLICABLE,
 FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, FLOODWAYS, AND DESIGN FLOOD
 ELEVATIONS; AND IT SHALL BE DRAWN IN ACCORDANCE WITH AN
 ACCURATE AND INCLUDED ON A BOUNDARY LINE SURVEY.
